Located well.

When we arrived the weather was sunny and dry, the reception couldn’t find keys to our room, so they put us in the room 15 that had stairs access to it. In the morning next day the rain started and while we were going down the stairs, I had a bad fall till the very last step hurting my arm, foot and hip. The stairs were slippery and unadapted to this weather. We made the staff aware that I hurt myself to which they replied that it’s too bad, but they don’t even have a first aid kit. We registered a complaint with the booking.com customer service. They told us they can ask the hotel to reimburse our stay, which is not what we are looking for here. The reimbursement for the night won’t help if there are complications from the fall. We’d like the hotel to take responsible actions and secure the clients experience and provide sustainable and safe facilities.

Lovely hotel in lovely village

In a lovely village with lots of hiking and other sporting activities. Nice room with a good shower. Very quiet and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

Parking place was quite small and down a small street so a bit inconvenient.

Hotel could be great but feels like a B&B when restaurant is closed.

Comfortable room with lovely terrace and fantastic countryside view

Restaurant not open Sundays or Mondays, leaving the only dinner options half a mile away down a steep hill. Anyone with walking difficulties would find this a problem. Breakfast seemed somewhat overpriced. Limited manned reception times . Our room had a significant issue with ants for no obvious reason.

Good location, room comfortable and quiet. Bar (for breakfast) and shops and museum nearby. Excellent free parking, Good walks to the Pain de Suvre and over the Rochers des Parcs.

This hotel is an old favourite of ours.

Excellent location. The owners are fantastic people. The ethos of using locally sourced quality food is great. And environmentally sound products in rooms. The chef (owner) is very good. Dessert trolley looked amazing and the cheeses were superb. The hotel is clean and welcoming.

One or two little details would have made the room a bit better for us, but it was still a nice room (bath towels too small for us fatties). We had expected the traditional Easter lamb dish they used to serve but it wasn’t available this time. Still a very nice meal.

A great disappointment, as we like to choose Logis Hotels for their normally very high standard.

The food in the restaurant was excellent & the young waiter who served us was very charming. But see also below. The excellent position of the hotel in the centre of the village & the easy access to places of interest in Suisse Normande was a real bonus. The member of staff who cleaned our room was delightful and did an excellent job.

Unfortunately we didn't fiind the majority of the staff particulalry friendly, although we did our best to speak French throughout our stay. The restaurant was only open for two of the four nights we stayed. We therefore chose to go and find a restaurant on one of the 2 nights they were open , so that if we found nowhere reasonable we would at least have a meal for that evening. We didn't like the fact that on the remaining days we had to enter by a back gate using the code. The breakfast s were rather poor. The food appeared to diminish in quantity & quality over our stay. Hot water was provided from the kitchen to which a teabag could be added by the guest.

Great Food and a Good Nights sleep

The Staff were very friendly and welcoming , the food in the restaurant was excelent especially the desert cart where your encouraged to try mulitple deserts .(the Creme Brulee and the choclate tarte were out of this world)

we arrived on a Sunday and couldnt check in untill 5pm which was quite late ( there is not a lot to do in France on a sunday ) but other than that I could not fault this hotel

Food was very nice and came with little extras such as amuse bouches. The wine was excellent too. The staff were attentive and organised.

The bedroom was tiny and very old fashioned. I suppose it was typically French. The bed was extremely hard. Not really any outside space to have a drink and inside was boiling hot.
