Slightly odd lounge arrangement where as a 4 we couldn’t sit round together easily

Great location

The location of this apartment is absolutely incredible. Central to everything and extremely walkable. The host is also very responsive and was able to get us into the apartment early as we arrived early and he alerted us once the cleaners had finished. We also had an issue with one of the bathrooms (the light did not work) and he attempted to have it repaired while we were there but unfortunately it was not fixed during our stay. We also loved having a washer and dryer so we were able to launder clothes during our visit.

Unfortunately, the apartment lacks some very basic things that would make it so much more inviting. For example, the main bedroom is very large but there is almost no room to unpack. Nearly the entire closet/wardrobe is locked for the owners and you are left with a tiny space to hang a few things up. There is ample room for a dresser yet there isn't one. There are no luggage stands either so we had to leave our luggage on the floor and were not able to unpack. Same issue in the bathrooms. There is not a single hook to hang up a towel and virtually no space to set down your toiletries in the shower or by your sink. It made settling in difficult. Also, we booked this apartment largely because it had three bathrooms. The bathroom off of the kitchen/living space did not have a working light so we were unable to use it unless someone closed the door to the kitchen/living room which allowed some light into the bathroom but rendered the living room and kitchen unusable. So we really only had the 2 bathrooms. The apartment was also not very clean. After walking barefoot on the floors, I wiped my clean feet on a white towel and the towel was filthy. The fans that were in the closet for use were coated in dust, too and the bathrooms have a lot of rotten wood from water damage that needs to be repaired. Overall, the IKEA furnishings are much too bare and the apartment needs a few more amenities to make it more accommodating.
