About this apartment rental
Holiday Apartment Casa Milla is obtained from the careful and scrupulous renovation of a historic Tuscan farmhouse, one of the last sharecroppers to disappear. It was the ancient home of my mother Camilla, all known as "La Milla" and therefore bears her name.
The house is now equipped with the greatest comforts for a peaceful stay, especially designed for families who choose Tuscany attracted by our green countryside, the nearby beaches and are planning excursions to the ancient wine villages (Bolgheri and the Antinori-Della Gherardesca lands they are very close to us) or in the Etruscan centers (Volterra can be easily reached by car) or choose Casa Milla for relaxing evenings by the pool after returning from trips to Florence, Lucca, Siena, Pisa (all easily organized day trips). In the green common areas it is possible to use the swimming pool (open from 1st May to 30th September) which being illuminated also allows suggestive baths under the stars. Our vast gardens are equipped with two barbecue areas to allow our guests to organize barbecues, each apartment has a reserved area for outdoor dining.
For complete peace of mind, the garden is fenced, as is the swimming pool which is bordered by a small safety gate, all surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees. The swimming pool has sun beds and umbrellas for use by our guests. Our herb garden with basil, rosemary, celery is at your disposal.
The structure has a private internal parking guaranteed for each host family.
Casa Milla is directly managed with affection and careful care by its owner, Luciano (former bank manager well known in the area)
The house has 4 independent and independent apartments, The house has 4 independent and completely independent apartments. This announcement refers to a two-room apartment on the ground floor (4-5 beds) with double bedroom, bathroom with shower cabin, dining room with kitchenette and 2-seater sofa bed, it is possible to add an additional single bed or we can equip the bed-cot for baby.Veranda with pergola, equipped for meals and relaxation.
The apartment has a private veranda area, located in the garden in front of the swimming pool and equipped for outdoor dining.
All rooms are very welcoming, finely furnished in a rustic style typical of the Tuscan countryside and have satellite TV. They are also equipped with independent heating and a safe.
The whole structure is free wi-fi. Animals are not allowed.
The apartment is not equipped with soaps or food in the pantry, it is possible to rent linen on site, cleaning costs are included.

We had a super nice stay. Luciano is helpfull and friendly- he even helped is finding an olive tree for taking home with us. We‘d love to come back. The place is perfect for kids.
We would though recommend bringing a moscito net.

Eravamo alla ricerca di una soluzione che ci permettesse il massimo della libertà di orari senza rinunciare alle comodità.
Casa Milla è immersa nel verde vicino alle principali strade che conducono fuori Cecina ed è la soluzione ideale per chi vuole alternare giornate in spiaggia a visite della campagna e dei borghi toscani; la spiaggia di Cecina è a circa dieci minuti di auto ed è comodissima quella libera. Personalmente non abbiamo avuto alcun problema a trovare parcheggio vicino al mare ma credo che in alta stagione potrebbe essere più difficile. La pineta che separa l'abitato dalla spiaggia è magnifica anche per escursioni in bicicletta.
Il nostro alloggio era comodo, spazioso e silenzioso; la presenza della piscina un valore aggiunto di non poco conto per noi che, con una bimba piccola, andavamo al mare nel tardo pomeriggio.
Il Sig. Luciano, gentilissimo ed ospitale, é stato anche una sorta di "guida turistica" indicandoci le maggiori attrazioni a seconda delle nostre esigenze e ci ha messo a disposizione i frutti del suo magnifico orto; la sua costante, ma mai invadente, presenza era rassicurante in caso di emergenze che fortunatamente non si sono verificate.
Comodità assolute, il parcheggio all'interno della proprietà con cancello automatico che garantiva un'assoluta autonomia e l'ottima copertura WiFi.
