The location is great and the rooms are large with lots of potential but the management refuses to do the basics to make the place acceptable. it's very filthy, doesn't appear that they do much cleaning between guests. The air conditioner unit leak water in the room so the floor was soaked. shower had no door so bathroom floor and toilet got soaked every time I showered. Sheets had holes in it. you have to have some courage to stay in this hotel. It's sad because just a little bit of upkeep the place could be Amazing. it's close to ipanema, just a short Uber ride or a 20 minute walk. active area with food options right outside the hotel. It's also very cheap but I guess it's cheap for a reason.
