Although this property and my room in a particular was dated and need of cosmetic repairs, I truly enjoyed this property. The staff is top notch, attentive, friendly, informative. Located at the end of Leblon beach, the property is removed from the hectic beach scene. Nestled into a private cove the property has ample amenities including a terrific spa (kudos to Bruno for a much needed massage after a fourteen hour flight), tennis courts (included in the resort fee), great pool area, and opt in for the breakfast (fresh fruit, pastries, omelette stations etc). Great for couples or families. The property is large but the staff provides personal attention and treats guest very well. Highly recommend for couples even though some of the rooms need upgrading. Would not recommend if you want a younger more party friendly crowd.

Arrived at hotel at 9am after overnight flight from uk. We understood that our room was not ready but were assured we would be given priority for cleaning so that we could use room well before official check in at 3pm. In the end front desk did us a huge favour by allowing us to use the room from 2.55pm !! I am sure it was ready earlier but the reception staff ould not be bothered. Very disappointed with check in. All else good.
