In Barfleur, a charming fishing village with picturesque houses, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, the Chardon Bleu is ready to welcome you! Recently built, this house is located in a quiet street, a few meters from the port, shops, restaurants and beaches. It is surrounded by a garden of 700 m2 fully enclosed. Electric gate. Possibility to park 3 cars.
Two large terraces (south and west) equipped with a table and a garden furniture, parasol.
The rooms are large and bright.
On the ground floor :
Entrance hall with dressing room, large living room with integrated kitchen, dining room, living room
A second summer kitchen can also be used.
Practical, a large room with a double bed, bathroom and separate toilet.
Upstairs :
Hall / living room, three bedrooms, one with two single beds, cot and two other bedrooms with double beds
Possibility of two additional beds, sofa bed in one of the rooms, additional cost of 10 € per person per night

This was the perfect property for our holiday. The house was spacious and airy, with a very private garden to relax in. The house was a short walk from the centre of Barfleur, so very convenient for purchasing our breakfast croissants. Barfleur is a very pleasant place to visit in itself and well situated for visiting many interesting sites.

We like Barfleur from past visits; it's very peaceful but there is plenty to do and adequate shopping facilities. The house had the advantage of being very close to the shops, restaurants and harbour with plenty of private parking. It is very well equipped for cooking.

Beautiful house, comfortable and very well equipped inside and out and in a great location in the village centre and close to the port. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, and happy to offer suggestions for eating out and nearby activities. Barfleur has plenty of restaurants (mainly specialising in fish and seafood), a handful of shops and a weekly market, and was a great base for exploring the region. We've already recommended to friends and family, and would love to pay a return visit.

We enjoyed a lovely stay. We were 8 people. Important for older people super beds. Separate bathrooms and toilets. Kitchen stocked for 20 people House and garden wonderful. Close to a great beach Very helpful and nice hosts.

It’s hard to imagine a better place to stay for a quiet family holiday. Barfleur itself is a lovely little fishing village that remains quite small. Excellent boulangerie and our favourite atmospheric friendly slightly quirky restaurant with very good food (there are a few to choose from). Excellent walks right out of the door. Several good places for sea swimming a short walk away, The property itself is outstanding. Spotless and bright but still homely. Nice private garden for breakfast/lunch, and enough garden furniture to catch the sun at just about any angle. Very quiet - we all slept well. Everything you could wish for a comfortable stay. The owners were lovely, helping us settle in when we arrived and there to help us get away without fuss. Also lovely to see them around the village. All in all, it couldn’t have been better. I suspect we will be back.

The house in BarFleur is stunning. The interior has been tastefully decorated and it’s a really lovely family home, whilst also being very stylish. It has everything you need, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier ( though the glorious sunshine meant we didn’t need the latter). The kitchen is well equipped, fantastic large fridge and another fridge and freezer in the utility room. So perfect for large groups. The house is situated on a quiet road , ample parking on site, yet 2 minutes walk to the best Boulangerie ( the cakes are amazing) , 10 minutes to the supermarket and a cash point. The walking and swimming adjacent to Bar Fleur are recommended. Sambiere is our favourite. Golden sand and safe for children. Cafe de France has by far the best food and also a short car ride away Le Geoland 1951 is a must for cocktails and perfect sunsets. The owners were really helpful and Michele made sure checking in was easy and that everything worked. The garden has electronic gates so very safe for young children to play in the garden and there are a number of bikes you can borrow. We will most certainly stay again .

The house was better than advertised, everything worked and was very comfortable. The owners were helpful. We were able to just walk to the port and get around easily. Lots of space in the house, room for everyone and a nice garden for the children to run about in. All the instructions in the manual about the house were excellent. I didn't want to leave.

When we saw this property it looked ideal for a family holiday. It proved to be a wonderful selection. The booking process was seamless and our hosts Pierre and Michele were very welcoming. The home was spotless, very well presented and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The high stone wall and locked gates meant we could let our grandchildren play in the garden without worrying about them strolling out.. Barfleur is a lovely French harbour side town. There is lovely sandy beaches nearby and great walks about the Normandy countryside. I can thoroughly recommend a holiday here,

Barfleur is a charming small port, with a few shops, small Carrefour for groceries, boulangerie and 3-4 restaurants. Good walks, sandy beaches and a great place to unwind. The property is very comfortable, well equipped and Michele is a kind and charming owner.

Hier stimmt einfach alles, das Haus ist schön und sauber, nette Vermieter, wunderschönes Grundstück, alles notwendige Equipment ist vorhanden. Das schöne Amiente von Barfleur rundet alles ab. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Man wohnt im Dorf/Stadt und hat es dennoch ruhig.

On se sent bien dans cette maison. On a pu en profiter largement dans la mesure où la météo n'était pas des plus agréables au moment de notre séjour. Tous les contacts que nous avons eus avec les propriétaires ont, on ne peut plus, sympathiques et facilitant. On se sent à l'aise dans la maison et l'environnement proche incite à ne pas sortir souvent la voiture si on aime la tranquillité et la beauté des paysages marins. Un endroit à fréquenter à nouveau en famille sans problème.

Nous avons passés un superbe séjour à Barfleur. La maison est très agréable et très bien aménagée. C'est une maison décorée avec gout et sobriété et très bien équipée, on sent que c'est une maison habitée et non pas simplement un gite, ce qui la rend très agréable. Elle est idéalement placée, tout prêt du port, dans une des jolies ruelles de la vieille ville, très calme. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir car le cadre est idéale pour passer de belles vacances en famille !

La maison était très confortable, située dans une rue très calme, à deux pas du centre et des commerces. Plusieurs belles plages à proximité de la maison, certaines demandaient 10-15mn de marche, d autres 15 mn en voiture. La région est d une grande beauté, encore sauvage parce que pas trop touristique. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et très disponibles durant tout le séjour. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances.

Propriété idéalement située dans le cœur de Barfleur à proximité immédiate du port avec l’avantage d’un joli jardin clos de beaux murs, la place pour garer les voitures, et le calme absolu. De l’espace, une maison claire et la fluidité des circulations intérieures pour que chacun trouve sa place. Tout est en place pour le confort du séjour. Accueil très agréable et disponibilité de nos hôtes.

Sehr schönes Haus mit Terrassen, schöner Garten, ruhig gelegen und trotzdem in nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß am Hafen/Dorf. Hatten mit 8 Personen (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) 14 sehr schöne Tage. Schöne Badestrände in der Nähe. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, die Übergabe war sehr unkompliziert. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Très bon séjour à Barfleur, dans une maison très agréable, bien conçue, bien équipée et bien meublée, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer à plusieurs un séjour confortable. Assez de place pour que chacun se sente à l'aise, un environnement très plaisant, parfaitement au calme à trois minutes à pied du port de Barfleur, un jardin charmant et spacieux à l'abri de ses grands murs (parfait pour les jeunes enfants) et des propriétaires très accueillants et de très bon conseil. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié, c'est une adresse à retenir !

Bij aankomst stonden Michèle en Jean-Pierre ons al op te wachten. Rondleiding in de woning met uitleg van de poort, tv en al het nodige. Fles cider en koekjes stonden al klaar. Een mooi, proper huis dat zeer rustig gelegen is in de nabijheid van de kust, bakker supermarkt en dat alles op wandelafstand! Echt super, voor herhaling vatbaar!

Equiper la chambre du bas de sommiers solides. Revoir le chauffage du cabinet de toilette de l'étage. Donner un mode d'emploi simple pour le four de la cuisine.
