An enjoyable stay at the Venit Barra Hotel

The breakfast was really good with plenty of choices. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and friendly, and I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel. The journey to Copacabana was at times around 90 minutes, but to RioCentro just 10 minutes, so ideal if you are attending a conference.

Poor

great location for rock in Rio. they run a lot of people through the hotel for rock in Rio so they set it up to pay as you order avoiding check out. I thought that was clever and although a little inconvenient for the guest it would be much more inconvenient to try to check out 100 people at once … so I guess that’s a solution. there buffet was ok as well and they did give me and my boyfriend free drink tickets which was nice.

beds. that was the worst bed in the history of beds. I elected to sleep on top of the pillows on the floor. there was a big hump in the middle. it was just terrible. I cannot stress enough… hotels please make sure your beds are comfortable. that’s where your guests spend the majority of their time with you!!!!!

Comfortable, stylish hotel opposite the Olympic Village and close to major concert venues

Spacious room with comfortable, firm bed. Good breakfast. Good wifi. Helpful reception staff. Great rooftop pool. Very convenient location for Qualistage shows at nearby Via Parque shopping centre and also for helicopter trips from Jacarepaguá airport, both only about 10 minutes away by car. Area very safe, including at night.

Only that the air conditioner was pretty noisy, and that the location doesn't have anything of interest.
