We have just got back from a wonderful week at this lovely hotel. Mark the Landlord could not have been more helpful such a lovely host nothing was ever too much trouble.
The room was delightful, cosy and quaint, the breakfast choice was a absolutely outstanding all cooked fresh to order the salmon and egg bagel something else 😋 thank you Mark for a lovely stay.
A special mention also to Dominique (Dom) Mark's assistant she brought a smile to every morning.
We definitely return sometime soon 👍🥳

The welcome was just lovely, offered tea on arrival and scones with clotted cream and jam. Mark was very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble.
The breakfast was presented beautifully and was so tasty. There are plenty of choices.

Facilities were good and the staff were friendly and attentive
The choice of breakfast is good so can eat healthy every day
Due to the adverse weather the room was unbearable even with a fan but without air conditioning everywhere would suffer the same fate

We had a wonderful stay at St. Georges House. Mark was an exceptional host and gave us many great recommendations for places to visit in the area. We also enjoyed hearing about his family history, including his great-great-grandfather, the famous naturalist.
The breakfast was delicious, and Mark was very generous in providing breakfast for our daughter at no extra charge. His kindness and hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We will always remember our visit and the warm welcome we received from Mark.
