Huge onsen. Excellent for winter sports as the ski slopes are just at the back.. though we stayed in spring time.

Had stayed for 4 nights. Due to booking issue, had booked the room with 2 adult (room big enough for 5 person). Checked with counter to add 2 kids into the list but did not advise the price when asked, only saying that it will be included into the final payment. When checking out, the cost of staying is almost 40% additional. Was rejected when asked about it. Whole family had fall sick on the 2nd night due to influenza in the hotel. Need to be extra careful on the hygiene within the hotel.

what a lovely stay for a ski in ski out. many reviews mentioned tired looking in need of a refresh. but we love the fact it is a classic representation, lesser crowds and the hospitality relaxed atmosphere. onsen is decent but huge and well appointed, the female onsen seems to have more perks ! food is buffet and very gos for the price

A bit like Butlins for skiing. Shabby and tired room decor. School dinner type buffet food and a bun fight to get it. Had to pay for luggage storage prior to check in. A self playing piano in the bar that plays the same tune endlessly on repeat. I am sure Japan has better. This was my first experience. On the plus side. The view from our room was lovely. Ski hire was easy and the Saki and local wine were good.
