    We had such a lovely stay at this lodge in Tsugaike 🤍 Truly one of those places that just feels warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. It has everything you need for a ski trip. Dry room, onsen, guest space, massage chair!!! super convenient and cozy. The location is perfect too, very close to the gondola and shuttle bus, which made everything so easy for us. We were also so lucky to meet the owner, he’s incredibly kind and friendly, always making sure every guest is comfortable and taken care of. And the best surprise… he upgraded us! What a score 😭✨ Honestly, this place made our trip even more special. Definitely recommend, and we’ll 100% be coming back!

    Cozy Japanese-style room, though one of the rooms wasn’t warm enough. Breakfast was simple (bread, pastries, basic English breakfast) with limited choices. Great location for skiing/snowboarding with rental shops right opposite. Free parking is about a 5-minute walk away, and a convenience store is just 1 minute away—very useful as there are few in the area.

    I stay there for several days this Christmas, the biggest issue was with the towels. I requested fresh towels as I noticed the towel have not been replaced in the room, but the staff told me I'd have to wait 3-4 days for a change. In a country where hotels pride themselves on impeccable hygiene and prompt service, this is utterly unacceptable. Who waits days for clean towels in a supposedly modern hotel? Not to mention I paid the price for each day staying there. It made me feel neglected and uncomfortable throughout my stay. I can’t imagine receiving this kind of services which I haven’t experienced in any place before.
