A musty smell on the ground floor

It was very comfortable and super clean

The portable air conditioner was a bit different for us being from the USA but it kept the apartment cool During the heatwave that happened during our visit

Clean well kept well maintained. Decent location.

We have no complaints.

The hosts were gracious and attentive. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and also fairly insulated from noise coming from other neighbors, though not completely. The apartment was fairly large, with a functioning kitchen, a comfortable living room area, and 2 baths, though I did not need the second one myself. The bathroom was well appointed, with a good shower head, high up enough for me. The weather was a bit rainy, so I appreciated the good, large umbrellas that were made available for my use while there.

I was not exactly happy with the "Scandinavian covers" in the bed (2 separate full-size comforters over a double bed, in place of one larger comforter, with no top bedsheet, which, I gather, is how most people here sleep). The covers were a bit short, not long enough to be sufficiently tucked in (I'm 6'6", and that is a concern for me). The neighborhood is safe and quiet, but the closest breakfast places are about 10 minutes' walk away. You could buy breakfast foods at supermarkets, though, for the next morning, and warm them up using the kitchen. (The apartment also has a Keurig coffee machine.)
