This is a perfect place for a very relaxing and refreshing holiday
We had a fabulous two week stay at Ferienhaus Sonnenhang. The hostess was extremely kind and welcoming, making sure we had everything we could possibly need, and giving us several unexpected treats (home made cordial, cakes, even after one very hot and long walk a very welcome iced coffee). The apartment is very clean and spacious, with two sunny balconies with fantastic views over the mountains. The location is excellent with easy access by free bus to many beautiful villages and stunning scenery, as well as having many good walks from the doorstep. This is a beautiful unspoilt part of Austria, and we look forward to our next visit.

First trip to Tirol
We spent one week in Matrei and we really enjoyed it. Apartment was clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed. It also had a balcony with an amazing view on Alps. Nearby station of cable car is just two minutes drive. Hosts were really nice and willing to help us. We highly recommend this one and can´t wait to come again in summer.

Very nice apartment and wonderful hosts.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the owners who showed us around and gave us all information we needed. Throughout the stay they were always available and very friendly. The apartment was very nice and clean with a huge balcony with a lovely view. Overall our stay was excellent, and the owners super friendly and helpful. If going back to Matrei, we will definitely be staying at this place again.
The WiFi was a bit shaky, but they tried their best to get it fixed.

Excellent apartments for vacation in Matrei
Excellent apartments, nicely furnished, all amenities you could want, really clean and location within walking distance to ski slopes and all shops in city center. Owners are really nice and helpful as well.
