Home away from home

If you are looking for a slice of heaven on earth: this is it! The Pongitzer farm is based on a beautiful and tranquil spot in the valley. Our favourite spot at the farm was the superbig wooden swing under the apple tree: the perfect spot to read a book or look for shooting stars together. From the farm you can hike to some pretty spectacular places such as the Zunig Alm. The charming town of Matrei is an easy stroll down the road. We stayed in apartment St Nikolausblick and loved it: from the amazing views (see picture) to the nice bathroom and comfortable bed. But what made this place truly special to us were the kind people and the animals: they made us feel right at home. ‘Opa Sepp’ felt like the grandfather I never had and Wolfgang and Moni did everything they could to help when I had twisted my knee. If you like animals you will love Mira the dog and the 4 cats. I highly recommend staying here.

Exceptional

If you want a quiet and pleasent holiday this is the place. Beautiful fields, with green grass, the smell of hay arround. A lot of facilities in a rustic house. The beds were very comfortable and a modern bathroom. Very well equipped kitchen, dishwasher was a real help. Our dog made a friend, Mira, the owners dog. We will come back, for sure.

Great place close to the skiing lifts

Very close to the ski lift (Goldried gondola). Clean and well equipped. But most of all to be appreciated is the hospitality of the owners (fam. Bugger). Thank you Wolfgand and Moni for having us and we are looking forward coming back.

Geweldig.

De gastvrijheid van Wolfgang en de familie. We werden warm verwelkomd. Tijdens hevige sneeuwval werd de sneeuw ‘s avonds weggehaald door Wolfgang zodat wij ‘s ochtendsvroeg weer richting de skipiste konden. Goede faciliteiten, moderne badkamer en keuken. Alles was schoon, wat ik persoonlijk heel belangrijk vind!

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und sehr nette Gastgeber

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Mit dem Auto kann man direkt bis zum Apartment fahren. Das WLAN funktioniert in allen Räumen.

Der Herd in der Küche wird nicht richtig heiß, daher dauert das Kochen etwas länger. Eine Mikrowelle oder ein Toaster wären auch nicht schlecht. Einige Standardfernsehprogramme funktionieren nicht (z.B. ORF-2).

Erholsamer Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Uns hat als 5- köpfige Familie nichts gefehlt. Der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
