Hotel Polski Pod Białym Orłem

This was my fourth stay at this hotel. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this historic place - it has a charm and character. The room was immaculately clean and the staff are always very pleasant, helpful and professional. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and I especially enjoy the lovely breakfast room and the little gardens. For me, this hotel is truly an oasis of peace and tranquility in the heart of Krakow.

The only thing I would suggest improving is the shower floor. The plastic floor in the shower cabin is quite slippery and having a non-slip bath mat or similar safety mat would be a practical way to help prevent possible accidents.

Breakfast was delicious and copious. Beautiful courtyard and florian gate views. Perfectly located for the old town and main square but quieter side street

The location is great - I needed to get to the train station in the morning anfd the hotel is in a very manageable distance from it. The building is quite beautiful and old, the breakfast was nice - many options, which I really appreciate.

like many other hotels in Krakow now it is ridiculously overpriced. I don't think one night in a weirdly shaped room, decorated in an outdated manner, with a single bed should and can cost 100 euro. The person at the reception whom I asked for the directions to the station was all nice when I spoke English, but when I tried to pronounce a Polish name and he realised I was Ukrainian, all of a sudden he couldn't be bothered to help, explain or even look at me. Eventually the guy who was helping out with the luggage explained it to me. However, he didn't even think to help me with my suitcase. this all adds up to an experience that was unpleasant and overpriced.
