picturesque location , superb breakfast, friendly staff

The hotel location was superb, the views are amazing. the hotel is also just across the bus stop. The breakfast was very good. I found the staff to very freindly and helpful with the stay.

Nothing speciifc, i stayed for 2 nights, on second night the internet was not working, but since i can get my phone signal this was not a problem.

A lovely place to stay

As we arrived late, used a self check-in option. Instructions were sent immediately and they were very detailed. A very quiet place with a nice view and a comfortable beds, staff is very helpful.

Would be ideal to have some teabags in the room (as there is a kettle), but that may be too much to expect :-)

Good location to key sights in Ramsau

Short walk to St Sebastian Parish and Malerweg trail. Room 24 and 25 have balconies that gives scenic view of the street. Rooms are clean. Free parking.

Friendly and helpful staff. Large, clean, comfortable room. Kettle and mini fridge in room (Hooray!!). Good location. Restaurant on site with plenty of choices for dinner.

Wifi was patchy. Pillows not great. Breakfast had limited choices compared to other places we have stayed.

Amazing hotel, great location, best views.

The staff was very helpful and kind. Also the hiking trail right off of the hotel is amazing! Many activities nearby and an amazing view. The view was so good, I woke up at 4 am just to watch the sunrise outside of my window. Oh and there are alpacas in the town at the park!

The location is just wonderful, surrounded by beautiful mountains and very peaceful and quiet, many options to explore the area.

Breakfast is not always available and in general restaurants close early.

The place for vacation is fantastic. Also, we had a very late check-in and they agreed to wait for us - it was nice.

there was only one outlet for charging in the bathroom. This makes it difficult to charge all phones and watches in the evening.

Exceptional

We loved that the room was really big, light and spacious. The table and chairs were very useful for organising our belongings and there was loads of wardrobe space and hooks for jackets and bags. The views of the valley and Watzmann were incredible. It was also great to have a really big cold fridge downstairs for guest use. Wish everywhere had this to keep water and packed lunches for hikes cold. We planned our Alpine Route journey in a hurry and hadn't even realised that the famous picturesque St Sebastian Church was next door to the accommodation. We also loved the spa garden, saline inhalation shed and Kneipp water treading pool nearby. The food at the restaurant was so good- would highly recommend the Majes with potato salad it was huge and very tasty. The breakfast was also great, delicious meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, rolls, butter, jam and you could help yourself to tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers which I love having with breakfast. Would definitely come back to stay here on our next visit to the Alps.

It is convenient to get to the hotel by public transport, it is located right next to the bus stop. The road to Lake Hintersee takes about 40-50 minutes through a delightful forest. The room is not very new but comfortable. There is hot water and towels. The staff is very friendly, helped us and told us what to see in the area. Breakfast would be fresh and tasty, served separately for each room. Wifi worked fine

The kitchen is only open during certain hours in the morning and evening. Every evening we returned from walks later than 19:00 and there was already nothing to eat. We had to look for working restaurants in the area

The location is perfect. You don't need to stay in Berchtesgaden as this Guesthouse is only a 10-15 min. scenic bus ride away. Ramsau is much more quiet and relaxing for sure. There are many hiking trails (inc. famous Zauberwald) located within footsteps. We stayed in the upper building. It was very clean, spacious and had free safe parking directly in front. Park your car and use the travel card which you receive during your stay. It allows you to take the buses all around the Berchtesgaden area. There is a bus stop directly in front of the main Guest house. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant beer garden within the main building was fantastic. The most impressive thing about this place are the staff and head waiter. They made you feel like you were staying at your long lost Uncle's Guesthouse. There was an additional 10 euro town tax added at the end of our 2 day stay. Well worth it due to the Bus card. Thank you for a great stay. See you again!

Sometimes they park the car that others can't park it. Every morning for the breakfast should go to the hotel . There was only one charging point in the room.

Located in the main street, but not noisy as the traffic is modest, big clean room, although the furniture and interior look outdated. They have a restaurant on the premises, it closes early - which seems typical in this area. Parking space available. Good location to visit the area.

Very nice staff and sweet little hotel in a gorgeous town!

Cleanliness, dinner, breakfast was pretty good, staff was very kind, close to everything we wanted to do and came with guest card for discounts around the area.

No shower (tub with a removable shower head); hot (could use a ceiling fan or standing fan…maybe bring one if staying in summer).

Loved our stay - highly recommended!

All of the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful from breakfast through to dinner! The location in Ramsau is beautiful, handy for walks starting right from the door and much quieter than staying in Berchtesgaden itself, which we preferred. Parking is just across the road from the hotel and we were given a guest card which gave us free bus rides and money off parking in all the car parks we used (from 7 EUR for one day down to 2.50/3.50 EUR). The decor in the room is old-fashioned (but that fits in with the building style) but very spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very tasty and efficient. The restaurant kitchen closes at 7:30pm in the evening which caught us out at first but once we knew, we could plan for it. The food is home-cooked German food in good portions. Overall we were very happy with our stay - very good value and highly recommended - would definitely stay here again!

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung

Die Lage ist schön

Wir habe die kleinstes Zimmer bekommen, bei -1 ohne Heizung( war Kaputt) Außerdem bei Beschreibung Stand dass das Zimmer mit Frühstuck gebucht ist, danach wollten die von uns noch Geld für Frühstuck weil das nur für ein Person gebucht wurde. Die Frau von Gasthof ist sehr unfreundlich und bei aufklären von Sachen wird Sie sofort unfreundlich, ich werde nie wieder hin. Das Zimmer Geruch ist eklig obwohl wir lange das Zimmer gelüftet haben.
