About this cabin rental

Megan is a lovely warm and comfortable Shepherds Hut overlooking the Dee Valley
We have located it in a lovely spot overlooking the Valley with car parking right next to the Hut. The facilities are completely self contained therefore social distancing can be maintained
Heating is by a small but effective electric radiator.
Dining table for two inside the hut with two fold away chairs if you want a little more room.
Private shower and toilet facilities
Outside a private table and chairs offer alfresco dining overlooking the lovely valley. There is also a well equipped camp kitchen just opposite the Hut with indoor dining for four if required ,
Up to two small dogs are allowed in the Shepherds Hut but we do ask that you state the breeds before booking and don't forget to tick the dog box on your booking form.

Amazing scenery looking over the valley. The Shepherds hut was perfect for a few nights stay. Very comfortable and with the added benefit of a separate kitchen and bathroom with lovely hot shower. Very nice hosts too. Would definitely return.

The Shepherds hut Megan is our favourite go to escape. Dee and Peter are always great hosts. The location in the Dee valley is just Breathtaking, the ideal location for just sitting and absorbing nature at its best. We are always sad when we leave, and can’t wait for our next visit. What a lovely spot to stay, beautiful surroundings, calm, peaceful and relaxing. The shepherd's hut is comfy and cosy, the kitchen building has everything needed for self-catering. It's not the Ritz - but wants the Ritz, this is way better! The hosts were helpful and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better break.

We had a lovely time, very peaceful, nice people and nice and clean, our only criticism was no outside lighting whatsoever, so was abit scary when you needed the toilet during the night, which would of been OK if we had of known because we would of took a torch.

Brilliant sray, great accommodation, good clean and equipped facilities. Geese are wonderful as is the footballing dog. Llamas keep themselves to themselves. Good access to walking from ‘home’ as it were. Highly reccommended.

Amazing experience. Pete and Dee were very hospitable. Two inquisitive Llamas, Geese next to the hut, a cute Dog who loved to show off her football skills, Chickens and a friendly Cat who made us feel at home... Would certainly recommend for a relaxing holiday!

Lovely quiet area, fabulous views, good facilities. Owners were friendly and welcoming, but left you to relax. 8-10 min drive to Bala, 3 min drive to good pub with good food. I will stay here again, thanks

Lovely little hut. Comfy bed with plenty of room for the two of us. Kitchen & wash facilities were kept at an excellent standard. Was so relaxed at all times. Will be going back when it's dryer to sit out of an evening and eyjoy the wonderful surroundings. Was made to feel extremely welcome. Very happy and would recommend to anyone who just wants to get away from it all.

Most interesting and unusual few days, it was just perfect, an excellent base for walking and photography. Most enjoyable few days. The accommodation was small but what else would you expect from a shepherds hut, it was cosy and cute. Had all that we needed.
