Milkwood Cottage

We had an amazing 3-day stay at Milkwood Cottage and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and looked after. Nick was absolutely fantastic. He personally welcomed us, made sure everything was okay before we settled in, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He even arranged a badminton net for the children, which they absolutely loved! It was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much he cares about his guests. Nick’s dad was also absolutely lovely and welcoming. Both of them made us feel completely at home and were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cottage itself was a lovely place to stay, and the location was perfect for us. There are so many attractions and beautiful places to visit within driving distance, so it was a great base for exploring Wales while still having somewhere peaceful and comfortable to come back to. Most importantly, the children were so happy and thoroughly enjoyed themselves, which made the whole trip even more special for us. We genuinely couldn’t fault our stay. The cottage, the location, and especially the hospitality made it a memorable little getaway for our family. Everything was great

Fabulous location close to a beautiful river with a lovely rural walkway. The cottage cane with a large private garden and separate covered outdoor seating area with BBQ. Our host Nick couldn’t have been more helpful, was extremely attentive and was available for any guest request.

Very little

Nice outdoor space and parking, lovely location for exploring the area.

The mattresses were elderly, uncomfortable and in need of replacement . Bedding was also ripped (bottom sheet).
