This 15th century country house near the characteristic village of Vacone (800 m) in the province of Rieti (Rieti 31 km), property of a noble family from Tuscany, was once a hunting lodge. It offers a beautiful view of the foothills of the Apennines. Guests can enjoy spacious outdoor areas, a small round pop-up pool and a slide or playhouse for your children. In the garden there is also a covered terrace for your outdoor meals and a barbecue. The location of the vacation home is ideal for excursions to medieval monasteries, picturesque hilltop towns and to the numerous archaeological sites you will find in the green countryside of Lazio. Recommended excursions: The monastery of Vescovio (6 km), the abbey of Farfa (18 km) and the monastery of Sacro Speco near Narni (10 km). Characteristic of this vacation home are the different living areas on different levels, the beamed ceiling typical of this area, the terracotta floors, an antique stove and the large fireplace on the 1st floor. The twin bedroom with bathroom is located in the tower (2nd floor) of the former hunting lodge.
