A lovely stopover en route to next destination. Would probably never return.

Beautiful hotel, charming and helpful host. Would have liked soft cushions on the sun loungers. Sadly no-one else there but us, such a shame.

A terrible place

The location was the only positive thing of our stay

Our stay was the biggest letdown of our honeymoon trip. The place was advertised as small and familiy oriented. However we were met with no hospitality and an owner who gave is a quick 30 second rundown of the room and then left us. He never had time for us and gave the impression that his guests were not important. It was purely commercially oriented. All the owner thinks about is money and how he could profit. Not just from his guests. While we were there he hosted a party for 60 people (not guests) and didnt bother to tell us. Wat we thought was a quiet small place was anything but. He placed two tables at the swimming pool for guests so that they wouldnt enter the restaurant. Whenever we wanted to ask something he said "not now " and walked off. The party lasted till late at night and guests were not looked after and owner didnt care. We didnt sleep because of noise and how unwelcome we felt. We decided we wanted to leave after two nights, but he refused to amend the booking. He said "no, i dont want to lose money". We even offered to pay an extra night, he refused. We felt like a prisoner and my wife got very emotional by our treatment. We ended up having to pay for 3 extra nights just to be allowed to leave. He didnt look at us or said sorry that your stay was not up to your wishes. We left there with sadness and a bitter aftertaste. I just hope people wont go there and have the same experience.

La piscina è molto bella, il contesto meraviglioso. Al ristorante si mangia veramente molto bene. La gentilezza dello staff, soprattutto Valentina!

Valuterei di togliere i tappeti nelle camere, magari proprio quelli a ridosso del letto. Renderebbe l'ambiente più leggero e facile da pulire.

Luxe, calme et volupté. Et Assise, Pérouse, Orvieto, ont vu naître la peiture occidentale.

Il ne faisait pas aussi beau, aussi chaud que je l'espérais, et il était impossible de se baigner dans la belle piscine du jardin. J'ai eu donc envie de louer une voiture, et Marco a eu la gentillesse de m'aider à en louer une à Amelia: peut-être ne le refera-t-il plus jamais! Car après ma première sortie, à Assise: où j'ai vu la cathédrale de St François et aussi de grands paneaux avec des vidéos, puisque c'était le lendemain de la mort du pape! Une ville animée, agréable, je n'ai pas retrouvé le chemin de terre qui mène à Tenuta del Gallo! Et la voiture s'est enfoncée dans une autre allée de terre pas très loin! J'ai cru que j'allais dormir là... Puis des gens, et même des gendrames sont arrivés, et Marco m'a sauvée de là, et je suis allée voir Pérouse et Orvieto les jours suivants: la cathédrale d'Orvieto, et cette petite ville surtout, m'ont beaucoup plues. Et je ne parle pas des fresques, des peintures dans ces églises! C'était un émerveillement! Au Tenuta del Gallo, j'ai mangé deux repas excellents, et je regrette de n'avoir pas eu davantage faim, car ce Relais a un chef cuisinier, et les dîners, les plats, et les vins étaient excellents! En somme: une semaine fantastique.

Je n'ai aucune critique à faire: le temps n'était pas au rendez-vous, il a plu parfois. Mais Marco et Sylvia sont des hôtes exceptionnels dans leur Repaire de Gallinicées. Tous les meubles sont beaux, anciens, on se plaît à rester dans cette grande maison du siècle dernier où l'on est traités comme des princes; Il suffit de trouver son chemin!

luogo stupendo, struttura affascinante e ben frequentata, i titolari sono molto simpatici e molto disponibili: amano il loro lavoro e sanno come rendere una meraviglia la permanenza nella loro tenuta. Producono un olio EVO strepitoso
