No room key was provided

The rooms were large and clean, towels were exchanged every day and the room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was tasty and was included in the price.

1. We were not given a room key and the room could not be locked from the outside - we asked the owner about it, she assured us that she lived there and that the room is safe. However, we returned into the room multiple times and she did not even notice us. There was a small lock from the inside so at least we felt safe at night, but not during the day - so we at least locked our valuables in a suitcase. We've never experienced this in any other stay, it felt so out of place. 2. The bed was fitted with an american bedding - flat sheet, blanket, coverlet - and it was highly uncomfortable. We did not expect this bedding in Europe (and did not encounter it anywhere else in Europe). For the whole stay, we were not able to make it work. 3. The breakfast was tasty but only sweet - oh boy, so sweet. There was nothing not-sweet in it. Good for 1-2 nights but we stayed for 6 nights and not much has changed during our stay. And all the guests ate at one large table, which made it hard to enjoy. Especially when the owner had friends for breakfast and we felt like second-class guests.

Excellent value-for-money stay.

This is a very homely establishment tucked away in a quiet village. If its peace and tranquility you want with the added bonus of a typical French home cooked breakfast that exceeds many a 'top hotel offer' then this is for you!!

My French could be better to understand a bit more conversation but the hostess does well on English.

Like a fairytale...

The true taste of Bretagna in such a wonderful place! The garden is absolutely stunning, the room is large, well equipped and absolutely clean. The breakfast is superbe - cake, brioches, crepes. Everything hand-made. The host could not be more friendly, and the entourage is very kids friendly. Strongly reccomended!

Le petit déjeuner est digne d'un hôtel étoilé ! Grande variété de délicieux mets faits maison avec des ingrédients maison. Le tout très bien présenté et servi par la maitresse de maison avec beaucoup de gentillesse. La chambre est grande, équipée avec gout. L'endroit est lumineux, calme et propre. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de Marilyn et de son mari, et le suivi tout au long du séjour. La maison et son jardin sont très jolis, très bien aménagés, la décoration est de bon goût, on se sent bien! Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Marilyn war eine sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin die uns tatkräftig in allen Belangen unterstützt hat und alles in ihren Kräften tat um uns den Urlaub angenehm zu gestalten. Ihr Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und vieles war selbst zubereitet. Das Zimmer war mit Geschmack eingerichtet und hatte alle erdenklichen Facilities. Parkplätze sind ausreichend im Innenhof vorhanden. Sie befinden sich auf dem eingefriedeten Grundstück und sind von der Strasse aus nicht einsehbar. Wir können das Chateau Bily ohne Einschränkung jedem wärmstens empfehlen und kommen auch gerne wieder!

Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen. Alles ist so wie auf der Hotelreservierungsseite beschrieben.

Die Gastgeber Andre und Marilyn Rault sind beide sehr freundlich und nett. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl in diesem Haus. Es gibt ein tolles Frühstück mit vielen leckeren und selbstgemachten Köstlichkeiten.
