Le 14 St Michel

Wow! We loved everything about this accommodation - Wonderful hostess who made us feel so welcome; location in the heart of the picture-perfect old town; beautiful authentic property with lovely garden; huge room tastefully furnished with casement massive windows catching the breeze and a charming view over the rooftops. This is more than just a place to stay.... It is a true local experience.

Viviane made us very welcome on our early arrival and her family members, including her delightful granddaughters helped carry our luggage upstairs to our beautifully furnished room. The view across the rear garden was lovely and we also looked out in to the Basilique. We arrived in a hot spell and thankfully the windows could be open and blinds pulled down. We knew instantly that we had arrived in a perfect Chambres d’hôtes.

Nothing really as although there was no parking on site it was easy to park outside the house. Perhaps a fan to cool the room would have been appreciated but it was not a major issue as the curtains were heavy enough.

This is a stylish and very comfortable accommodation perfectly situated for exploring Josselin.

The bookin.com information ℹ about parking was misleading as there us no on site parking. This needs to be corrected. However we did find on street parking nearby very easily.

The family who live there were wonderfully friendly and hospitable. The property and rooms were fabulous and well located. The breakfast was fantastic: home made crepes with fruit salad, yoghurt, pastries, coffee and juice - just what we needed. We were also able to store and wash our bikes which was very helpful. We also have excellent recommendations for a lovely restaurant. The town is also stunning. Strongly recommend to anyone.
