The small region of Cantabria, northern Spain, is one of the hidden gems of the Iberian Peninsula, consists of a range of breathtaking scenery, spectacular mountains, Los Picos de Europa, the lush green valleys and dense forests. Many beaches ignoring the saturation of the Mediterranean coasts, but also protected developers, hidden coves and charming fishing villages are along the coast.

The house is very charming in the most beautiful location. The scenery is just stunning. There is a road close by, which makes it less quiet, but I still give it 5 stars! A 5 minute drive to Liencres with nice little restaurants, a 10 minute drive to the golf course and 5 minutes to the most beautiful beach!
There is no WIFI, but that actually helped us to better connect as a family during our stay.

Very hospitable and welcoming owners of the property. The house is in an excellant location to explore Cantabria and the Basque areas. Several good restaurants close by in Lienceres and Boo De Pielagos. Great beaches perfect for surfing or swimming as lifeguards in attendance at all times. Within close proximity of the fabulous Picot mountains, a holiday home perfect for a best of both worlds break away.

Les propriétaires français nous ont bien accueillis et apportés des conseils utiles pour notre séjour. Le gîte est fonctionnel, bien équipé, dispose d’un jardin avec vue sur les dunes de Liencres et au delà la mer. On peut y stationner sans souci. Les commodités sont proches (commerces à Liencres) et l’accès à l’autoRoute aussi. Santander à 20 min environ et 15 km ! Un super point de départ pour visiter la CantaBrie ! Nous avons beaucoup aimé
