23 Love Lane Hotel

Loved it! Very quiet, calm, and it truly feels like home. All the staff are friendly and helpful, making you feel very welcome and comfortable throughout your stay. They are always ready to assist whenever you need them. There is also evening tea served throughout your stay, accompanied by local delicacies, which is such a lovely touch. A special shout-out to Zaini! She is super friendly and always checks on us to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. The restaurant is also worth trying. They serve one of the best steaks — juicy, tender and delicious! The mushroom soup was excellent too. I only hope they can offer a little more variety in their main courses. Overall, a lovely and peaceful stay with warm hospitality, good food, and a real home-away-from-home feeling.

Weekend nights can be a little noisy as there are quite a few pubs around, but thankfully, the noise doesn’t get too loud or go on too late. Since the place is also close to the roadside, you can sometimes hear motorbikes revving as they pass by. Other than that, it’s a peaceful and pleasant place to stay.

It’s a unique setup of this hotel, converted from a household setup into hotels. Historical feel

The photo looks way better than our actual room. The floor is dusty and bed are not so comfortable. Everything needs a good deep cleanup. Shower even needs an upgrade, the sink didn’t work properly, I was always showing inside a pool of water.

Breakfast options were very good. Equally providing tea and cakes in the afternoon was a nice gesture The location was excellent. The setting in itself was very green and pleasant. The staff were very helpful.

Nothing comes to mind

The location was very central to all the main sights in Georgetown and eateries. It was surprisingly quiet for a centrally located hotel. The high tea served everyday at 4pm was an unexpected bonus and a lovely gesture. The staff, especially Janet, were excellent and very helpful.

The hotel is tired and needs repainting to refresh it. The current rustic look does not give it a clean feel. Our room was clean but dusty, there was no attention paid to the dust under the bed nor furniture. The towels could also do with refreshing because they were very thin.
