We had a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment. The apartment was big, clean, warm, and beautifully decorated.
- there is a big supermarket nearby, within a 5-minute drive
- staff was friendly and helpful, we asked for a small cake as one of us was having a birthday and they kindly gave us one
- the estate area was beautiful and very well kept
- breakfast was rather small, there were no warm breakfast options
- WIFI in the living room was good, but in the bedrooms the signal was rather weak

Location is excellent and consists of a beautiful walled country estate in the center of the Valpoicella area. Breakfast is very good.
Entrance to the house is via a cypress lined drive with a wrought iron gate but no one answered the intercom at the gate so after several minutes we drove round the other side and some-one finally let us in. There are 8 rooms in the main house and ours was on the top floor up 2 flights of steep steps - we had alot of baggage yet no one asked us if we needed any help. Same thing at check out. Room was spacious but smelled musty, maybe due to the antique furniture, and in all honesty could not be described as luxury - it was very disappointing, especially given the place is run by Masi - we expected better ........ the hotel does not reflect well on their brand. Stay somewhere else ! Hotel needs a complete renovation
