Charming area, 10mn drive from Tolmin

Excellent location in beautiful surroundings. Elvis, the host was very helpful. The house and the terrace had nice atmosphere.

The kitchen could be a little bit more equipped, but this was not a big issue.

Wonderful apartment to stay at Tolmin! The value-price is pretty good. We enjoyed our stay!

Spacious and cozy apartment in the wilderness surrounding Tolmin. We really enjoyed the cleanliness and practicality of this place, as well as the beds, they were very comfy to sleep in. There is a large entrance hall too, ideal for storing hiking/ski gear. The kitchen space is superb, with plenty of utensils and appliances to use. Overall, this apartment offers everything you need and could hope for while travelling.

1. The Wifi/internet is very weak in this place. We had to use our own data just to access Google Maps and do basic research. 2. The TV seems to be very old or malfunctioning. We tried to watch movies using a HDMI cable from our laptop and the screen kept freezing every 30 seconds or so. 3. The shower cabin is not very well-made, my friends were shocked a few times through the shower handle. We suspect some electricity from the boiler is flowing through the heated water. Also, the ventilator blows air into the curtain, making it stick to our bodies, it's not so hygienic, 4. The first floor doesn't feature insect nets on the windows (like it happens on the ground floor), as such we couldn't open the windows at all, since the place outside is infested with mosquitoes. There is no AC, so it was not so pleasant to sleep in sauna-like rooms. 5. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom needs repairing or some oil, it made a lot of noise (disturbing to sleep with it active).

Cozy Apartment with amazing view

First of all the location is set between the mountains and it's very quiet, very very clean and cozy. The apartment has a little terrace in front of the door and it is perfect for drinking coffee in the morning, with a fantastic view of the mountains. The host, Elvis is very nice and hospitable he was kind enough to give us tips on how to get around and what other sights to visit, he also gave us some traditional drinks and made time to sit with us for a drink, we felt very welcomed. And also the place is impeccable. We will surely be back to Slovenia in the following years and will book the same place <3

Nothing

First of all there was a problem with contacting property, we made about 5 phone calls and only than reached property. Lady was not very polite and told that keys are inside. Secondly, the is absolutely no ventilation in this property and mosquitoes nets are totally missing, do if you want to let a fresh air inside the bugs, bees and other insects will come inside. Also there is a problem with cleanliness in the property, old beds, dust etc, not really good if you are allergic. Talking about kitchen facilities, the equipment is old and don’t look good, furthermore there is no kettle inside. Terrace was dirty, so we asked about broom and cleaned it. No sunbeds only old plastics chairs and table. The worst thing is that the owner doesn’t really understand that his property needs to be upgraded and a little bit renovated, to be more tourists friendly. In conclusion we left apartment 2 before the end because of cockroaches which were in bath and kitchen. Terrible experience, don’t recommend.

The place was calm, silent and harmonic but you need a car for movement. The view from terrace was perfect. The owner was helpful and really kind. Good wifi and apartment all equipment that you need.

Exceptionally clean property with friendly and welcoming owners. Property is located a short drive from many points of interest - will definitely return as we didn’t have time to see everything in the area.

We really liked the location (be prepared for quite narrow roads everywhere around the location), the apartment was nice and clean overall. The kitchen was perfect, well-equipped with a big-enough fridge and a freezer. Good place to stay if you have a lot of stuff and want to cook for yourself.

There are mattresses with springs that are really squashy and not that much comfortable after time. Also, be careful if you are allergic to wasps - when we stayed, they had set up a nest close to the window somewhere (didn't fly into the apartment fortunately though).
