Beautiful hotel in the nature

It’s pretty good but the prices at the restaurant are way too high.

It’s very authentic and remarkable.

In our room the heating system hasn’t worked at all.

Room for improvement

The hotel is located in a beautiful place. The staff were polite. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast arrived quickly.

The last bit of the road to the hotel is a dirt road. The staff were polite but seemed unbothered and not attentive. The room decor is very dated. The bathroom had a bad smell coming out of it. The breakfast was good, however the choices were limited and portions were a bit small. There are only a few skylights in the room and no proper windows. One of them had a stuck blind which you could not pull up and only one window was actually opening.

Staff, facility, location, amenities, comfort. It’s wonderful to have authentic Bulgarian restaurant onsite.

There was a mop in the shower which was a good idea for mopping up stray shower water, but unfortunately the mop had become mildewed. Otherwise the bathroom and everything else was incredibly spotless and clean. And stylish too!

Lovely views and atmosphere

The hotel has an incredible view and a lovely garden with a porch swing. The rooms were really nice and well decorated. There are plenty of parking spaces. There was a ping pong table, which was nice. The staff were nice. It looked like they let guests use the BBQ facilities.

The breakfast was disappointing - it did not taste good and the quantities were small. The pillows in the room were horrendous - twice the height of a normal pillow. The jacuzzi was dirty. The road to the hotel is not suitable for expensive cars. The BBQ facilities smoked out the whole garden and made it unpleasant.

My secret heaven

An all-time classic, the hotel is close to hiking tracks, clean, cozy, offers delicious food. The staff is amazing. The entire atmosphere is relaxing. I love it.

Perfect location in the Rhodope mountains

Perfect location for Eagle's Eye climb (as well as Devil's Path). There is a stable that offers horse riding next door, and the person in charge was super kind. Our room had an amazing view of the Rhodope mountain at sunset. The 'mekitsi' for breakfast are really good.

The shower was not enclosed.

The hotel's location is absolutely stunning! It offers breathtaking views of the mountains and the nearby town. It's also a great starting point for hiking—especially to the Eagle’s Eye, which is a must-see. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the facilities are excellent. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it!

Hotel Mursal Stay

Beautiful view and nature.

The rooms were very basic; bed was not very comfortable. There was not even conditioner and shower gel available in the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was OK, however the hygiene was very poor - numerous dead flies on the window frames, including one, berried in my salad... For that prize, they should do way better.

Perfect for hiking to Eagle’s Nest

It is the closest hotel to the starting point for the hike to the Eagle’s Nest, it literally starts from the parking lot! We left before sunrise to climb up, saw deer on the path and were up 1h later, and back down before breakfast. Food was more than decent, both dinner and breakfast were great. Staff was very kind.

Bathrooms were a bit dated, shower above the toilet and no blinds for the window facing the meadow.

Location! Being in the middle of the mountains was amazing.The views are just breath taking. The hotel was very clean and comfortable .The food in the restaurant is some of the best we have tasted in Bulgaria ( Local Bulgarian food) The owner of the hotel is very friendly and his wife is a amazing cook !! Staff are very friendly and work hard. The hotel is a great location for hiking/sight seeing.Rooms have everything you need.Hair dryers ,fresh towels,clean bedding and great mountain views from your windows. We will certainly return here again 😊

The best place to enjoy what the area has to offer

Superb location that is probably the best in this area. This is the closest place to start off the 1 hour hike to the spot with amazing view of the surroundings - "Orlovo Oko". The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and they serve wonderfull breakfast with natual homemade juices with it. The hot tub and SPA facilities are great too. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms with great view.

Very friendly staff, great view and location-you feel in the mountain literally.
