A cozy apartment with everything you need

The apartment was excellent. It was very well equipped and warm. The location was great, a few minutes by car to the nearest ski lifts (there's also a bus, but we didn't use it). The host is also very friendly and welcomed us, even though we were a bit late on arrival. Would definitely come back.

Clean and cozy

We spent here 1 night. The Owner is very friendly and helpful, the property is very clean and has a very good location. The view is absolutely gorgeous! There was cold outside but the heating system was perfect :)! Towels and bedding were very clean and fresh :)!

Nothing bad really, only 1 thing is missing from the kitchen: a kettle to boil water for tea, but we solved this with the hot plate :)

Superb

The apartment was quite large, nicely furnished, modern looking. Comfortable bed. Completely quiet. The helpful owner lives directly in the building. On our way back home, he drove us to the Gastein train station. Great location (that is, for Böckstein...), with the tunnel train station and the excellent Gasthof Zur Post nearby. I'd stay there again.

Just minor things really... there is no hairdryer. An electric heater in the bathroom would be great for drying clothes/towels (the Alps are cold and wet many days in a row even in summer). The apartment was a bit insufficiently and quite randomly supplied. There was salt and pepper and dishwashing fluid, but there was no soap or shower gel and just a single roll of toilet paper. I don't hold it against this particular accommodation, my experience is that in Austria this is standard (our previous accommodation had loads of toilet paper and a shower gel, but no salt and no dishwashing fluid. :) Keep this in mind and pack your whole household with you just in case, or be prepared to do some basic shopping right after your arrival. :-)

Everything about our stay was great. The place was perfectly clean, much bigger than expected and the host was lovely. The place is just a short walk from the ski bus to the different ski areas. We would definitely stay again.
