Well, my goodness, where do
I begin?
As I bite into this delicious homemade Blueberry Cream Cookie, I recall every wonderful moment I have spent at this beautiful piece of countryside. Before I even arrived I had a feeling I was in for a treat.
Miss Kaz and MR. Bill are some of the nicest and down-to-earth people you could possibly meet. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and given the grandest tour one could ask for. The wild hogs, or should I say, domesticated hogs, were so much fun to watch romp around in thier muddy pen.. haha.
Ms. Kaz took me all around and showed me campsites with natural landmarks, each with a delightful story. We even got some rain the first night so the swimming hole filled up and showed promise of summertime fun to come. The living quarters are both quaint and comfortable with a few simple rules for country living with a septic system. No problem there, easy peasy.
The bed is very comfortable
and theres a huge TV room with 9 or so recliners ready to go for movie night.
Rather than watch TV, however, I enjoyed the outdoors and did FaceTime with my kiddos so they could see the sights. I will definitely be back with my family when we can. Such an amazing experience out here, I tell you. The animal look-outs were also a delight!

We had the whole house to ourselves.
We love sitting in the living room in front of a huge picture window, watching all the wild animals (deer, raccoons, possums, fox, wild boar) come to munch on the food the owner sets out for them.
The owner provides all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need to make your meals if you choose to.
We initially had a misunderstanding of how long we were staying. But that was resolved quickly.

The location suited my purposes--I wanted to be down a country road and fairly close to a recreation area that is near Lake Travis.
IT was perfectly nice. The house and facilities are not totally "my style," that's all. And the property is being worked on a lot so I can't say I recommend then paths/roads as a beautiful stroll, at least behind the house.
I did see gorgeous butterflies up front by the gate and there were flowers in bloom for them.
