This place is adorable! It was a quick stay, we arrived shortly after 3:00 and headed out at 8:30, but we made the most of our time. The cabin was clean and well kept. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out.

We stayed in the cabin called The Outpost. The cabin was clean and basic. The bed was really comfortable. The only thing we didn't like about the cabin was the small TV that barely registered any channels. But with that being said, we didn't book this cabin to watch TV. We did get to see whitetail deer and blackbucks on the property and Omar texted us when he was going to feed the deer so we could see all our most of them on the property; about 40 head of deer. It was an impressive sight. The drive to Kerrville and Fredericksburg wasn't too far of a drive for dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The peace and quiet at nighttime with the stars shining bright makes this place stand out. There was a pool and a hot tub; but the hot tub was closed during the summer - too hot. We definitely would recommend this place if you're looking to get away from the city and to enjoy nature. We would stay here again when in the surrounding area. Thank you Omar for the kind conversation and for including us in the deer feedings. It was a great experience.

We absolutely love this place. The Property manager Omar and his wife are such amazing people. We truly feel like family when we come here. The property is so relaxing. There is a nice walking trail, it's quiet, the cottages are cozy and well stocked with everything you need, there is a pool and Jacuzzi as well.

We had a wonderful day at Cowboys And Angels, the property manager was awesome and gave us great directions to get there and may check in easy. Our little cottage was wonderful, clean and organized well. We had a great day and would highly recommend it.

The Cowboys and Angels Resort is one of the best places my family has ever stayed. Immediately upon entry we were greeted by Omar. He showed us to our yurt and informed us of items we might want to use during our stay. We visited the quaint office shop and picked up a few well priced items. The yurt we stayed in was excellent. It was well decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was even a hot plate so we could cook breakfast items. The yurt was filled with cooking items, coffee, utensils, a mini fridge, sheets, blankets, a/c, and a heater. There was even dvds and a television if you wanted to watch something. We also enjoyed cooking burgers on the grill outside. The trail was so nice. We walked down it and saw many deer and beautiful country plants. The walk was very relaxing and much needed fresh air. We also were able to see the chickens on multiple occasions. There is a pool as well with seasonal access. There was a jacuzzi that was so relaxing. When you looked up you would see so many stars. I even saw a twinkling star which was really neat experience for me. The entrance and exit are gated with codes with is wonderful. You know that people can not just get access the property and I felt very safe. If you are looking for a relaxing, enjoyable experience for your family, this resort is definitely it. We definitely are looking forward to coming back in a few months. Thank you Omar & your wife for making our stay spectacular.

The one room hut was minimal as expected at a campground cabin; clean with bottled water, propane heater and comfortable bed.

This was such a cute little place. I ended up getting there later than expected, and Omar waited for me to make sure that I got there safe. I checked in; he helped me get my bags into the room and get settled. He went above and beyond with communication of how to get there and what to do. I stayed in the Carriage House Cabin. It is a little bit of a walk from the parking lot and it. It is rocks and purple before you get onto the path to just be aware of that if you have any issues walking or like I have my dogs, though he wasn’t a fan of the stones, but he’s old. The cabin is equipped with everything that you need and would be perfect for a family with a couple kids as there were bunkbeds with A. I guess Queen‘s size bed. The cabin had all the amenities you would expect from a larger hotel, refrigerator microwave coffee pot full stove. The bathroom is just a shower, but fully stocked with everything that you would need. They’re also games and puzzles and coloring books and all the fun family stuff. There is a TV but very limited channels but you’re not there to watch TV go have funsuch a cute peaceful little place. It was fun! There is a hot tub that I did enjoy it’s small probably only seats four, but it was clean and warm and perfect for me ; walking paths; grills, stage, fire pit etc for family fun. If you want a peaceful no-frills experience… Go to Cowboys and Angels. You’re going to be treated like family, and have fun. Sorry no pics. I took video.

This was a weekend trip to celebrate our 55th anniversary. We wanted a quiet place to relax and this was perfect. Our cabin was decorated so cute, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner kept the cabin nice & cool. We enjoyed the pool and watching the many deer on the property. This is located about 15 minutes from Kerrville and we did go there one evening for a nice dinner at 5 D Steakhouse.

The quiet solitude was perfect. Sitting on the porch, next to the fire pit sharing a bottle of wine with wide open vistas in front of us. Perfect weekend getaway.

We stayed in the Gunslinger. Property was beautiful, quiet, relaxing, well maintained, clean, and provided all the essential basic kitchen utensils and tools. We grilled out and had a nice camp fire. we were the only guests in a cabin the night we stayed, but the cabins are quite close together, so I’m not sure we’d choose this location during a busy weekend, but would be ideal for big group events.

Wonderful little get away! Right off the interstate but secluded enough for a perfect get away. Lovely owners. Cute cabins, clean and all the basics. Bring some groceries and stay the weekend or use it as the perfect base in between trips to nearby Kerrville, Fredericksburg, or even San Antonio (little further out). So relaxing. Glamping. RV hook ups.

Cowboys and Angels was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with my husband. We loved the rustic, slower paced life the country brought. It was memorial weekend and they didn't raise their rates as others had. The owners took interest in each of their guests. We had the best time whole staying there.
