We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is cute, comfortable and modern. The staff was wonderful and communicated well. The only negatives were water pressure, noisy pipes, and curtains that lacked some privacy and light blocking. Overall, we would recommend and return to the property.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Tillman Resort. The staff was very nice! The casita was clean and well prepared. Overall the stay was very peaceful as it is located in a very tranquil location.

Overall, the location is pretty in the river bank. The cabin has been recently updated, however, there were several major issues that made us leave early and do not stay the 2nd night: 1) the smell of the plug air freshener was suffocating, we couldn’t sleep and all my clothes smells like it now (I unplugged it right away, but the smell stayed forever and it was horrible); 2) the AC was very loud especially at night; 3) the water pressure in the shower is very low and hard to get the water temperature right; 4) no room for toiletries in the bathroom; 5) no hangers for clothes, just a few hooks; 6) a very small bed. If not for the smell and noise, the stay wouldn’t be so bad.

It is a step up from camping. They need a mirror (outside of the small bathroom mirror) and some place to hang some clothes or coats. No tissues either- I had to buy some. Each time the hand soap dispenser is broken. Last, the noise. The past two times, other guests are outside with loud music until the early morning hours. It is defiantly a party place. So you aren’t getting much sleep, but with the uncomfortable beds, you probably wouldn’t anyway.

My husband and I really loved this property. It was not busy at all. So it was quiet. The main suggestion would be to replace the drapes. They are thin and see through. That made me feel a little uneasy. If that were to be done, I would give this place 5 stars.

The location along the river is scenic and we loved the onsite restaurant for breakfast. The bed was comfortable but the lack of room darkening curtains made it difficult to sleep. The outside porch lights lit the room up and the very thin, white curtains offered little privacy and no darkening. The ac/heat was extremely noisy. We would consider trying it again with sleep masks and earplugs.

Beautiful, quiet location central to all the great Hill Country spots. You could use blackout blinds for the windows facing the parking, the lamp in front of the cabin made it as light as day during the night.

Cafe on the property within walking distance with excellent food and coffee. Updated rooms. Beautiful view of the river from the back porch of the cabin. Within driving distance of several state parks and small towns. Will definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tillman Resort. It is very relaxing, clean. The resort is located very close to Blanco so it’s easy access to shopping and dining. We enjoyed the Rio Blanco Cafe on site. The food is excellent and the owner and staff are great!

This is a fantastic resort. Quaint little cabins along the river. A back porch and rocking chair to enjoy your morning coffee. Each cabin is situated in such a way that it feels private on your back porch. The cabin was clean and spacious. A mini fridge and coffee were available in the room. A delicious cafe was available on site and offered breakfast and lunch. My only regret is that we did not stay longer.

Booked this stay to attend the Stonewall, TX Peach JAMboree. It was great fun but our stay at the Tillman Resort was actually the best part of the trip. We received a text on our way to let us know our cabin was ready and where to find the key. The hosts were very responsive by text and are actually on the property. We spent our first night by the fire pit enjoying the Full Strawberry moon and a wonderful breeze off of the Blanco River. Each cabin is a bit different but all have front and back porches and a view of the river. There are fire pits, tennis courts, patios with lounge chairs, Adirondack chairs, and rockers all around the property. There is an area for RVs as well. The entire property is meticulously maintained. The cabins are small but modern. Just know that our kitchen wasn't equipped for cooking. There were two wine glasses, a coffee mug, and a Keurig and supplies for coffee. There is a small microwave & a small frig/freezer. There are no drawers in the small kitchen, so no real place to store anything, except on the counter. There is a sweet cafe for breakfast and lunch right on the property. The food was excellent and the owner and chef were delightful. The bathroom is small so there is no real place to store your toiletries. There is a road that runs close to the property so there was a bit of traffic noise during the day but nothing too awful. The cabin was immaculate, bed very comfy. Planning our next stay!

The resort is very easy to find, but feels remote. Plenty of parking, super clean grounds. Cabin 109 was perfect for two adults. It’s essentially a studio; one giant room with two beds, a table, and the cutest little kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge and freezer, and sink. There were no napkins, silverware, paper towels, or plates, so BYO if you plan on eating in the room. Coffee/ single Keurig was provided with pods, sugar and creamer. The view is beautiful, though fyi - this water is not for swimming. Pickle ball courts are a fun addition, though 100% in the hot Texas sun with no shade.

What a cute place! We enjoyed our stay, after touring the town we were even more convinced we picked the right place for us! Loved being on the river. So peaceful and pretty. Would have loved to have the cafe open on Wednesday morning for breakfast but they were closed.

First why is this called blanco river resort when you get there it’s clearly Tillman resort, confusing? The cottages were very nice, clean, inviting. The closeness to the river was very relaxing and the property very well kept. We did not use the restaurant on site but a nice touch. The things I noticed it could use; the back door deadbolt did not work. There wasn’t tissues or paper towels for use. The bed comforters are too heavy for summertime use. My husband and I both had trouble sleeping getting too warm. Back porches have too big a drop off not to have a railing for safety purposes. We would return to this resort again.

These are delightful cabins for singles, couples, or families! They all have a great view of the river, are clean and comfortable, and are so peaceful!! They are just outside of town with easy access to several restaurants in town. There are pickleball courts, ping pong, & bean bag toss games for outdoor fun, plus a gas grill & griddle to cook, and several fire pits available to relax by. The cafe on site has good breakfast. Stephanie was super responsive by text or phone and very helpful with information, and about giving restaurant suggestions. There were lots of birds to watch, abundant fireflies at dusk, and a variety of frogs singing at night. It is pet friendly. There is abundant shade under the large trees, and each cabin has porches with chairs and/or rockers to sit and relax while taking in the view. My wife and I thoroughly loved it and hope to return and rent several cabins with our grown kids and their families for a fun get together! Just be aware that in your GPS it might be under Blanco River or Tillman Resort, or you might have to put in the address. Enjoy!!!
