We are in the heart of the Wineries of The Texas Hill Country. Our Inn has two venues … one being the Inn and the other the Bunkhouse House at The Inn. Our Inn has it’s own in ground pool with wonderful scenery and privacy. After a day of wine tasting return to enjoy our outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill for BBQs and picnic tables to enjoy the evening under the Texas Sky. We are a family business with roots in the Texas Hill Country.
Our little Country Inn is settled behind beautiful oak trees off Hwy 290 West approximately 8 miles from Johnson City, 1 mile from Hye and 22 miles to Fredericksburg. LBJ Park is 7 miles due west of the Inn.

Our Bunkhouse is located behind our little Country Inn which has 2 private sides, with private entrances for each side. Both have pool access and patio access.

Booking 7-10 guests accommodates main house. ($100.00 linen fee added)
Booking 11 to 14 guests will include the main house/French bunkhouse
Booking 15 to 20 guests will include main house, French room and fox/hen-house.

Property is 18 and over due to location, decking, stairs and the pool not having a fence on the perimeter. The safety of others is major concern and this is why recommended for adults. You can sign a release of liability for anyone under the age of 21.
Perimeter video surveillance installed at property for liability & enforcement purposes.
Check-in:
When you first arrive, renter must go through the entire property to ensure everything is clean and in working order within first 30 minutes. If a discrepancy is found contact property manager ASAP.
Check-out:
We do not charge a cleaning fee as the rental home should be left the way it was found.
Sweep, clean and put away ALL dishes as found upon arrival/coffee maker, remove all bedding/sheets & towels and place in room of deck with sliding door. Wet towels go pile by themselves.
Ensure all windows are clean as found, IE. back storm door, sliding door off pool deck.
Pick-up any/all misc wrappers, glitter, tobacco products from your stay.
If turnover crew has to cleanup after you and your guests, the entire deposit will be forfeited/no exceptions.
Security Deposit will be non refundable and immediate eviction if there are any guest on the premises that are not on the signed agreement. Absolutely no pets allowed on the premises unless pre-authorized on signed agreement.
No pets/dogs allowed in pool for sanitary reasons, immediate eviction will be enforced. If it is found that there are pets on the premises that are not on the rental agreement or pre-paid for in advance Security deposit/credit card on file will be charged ($250.00) and immediate eviction. No Exceptions!
No fireworks, sparklers, snap pops, or party poppers of any kind.
Credit card information on agreement is mandatory for damages/penalties found on property.
Mandatory $250 fee/penalty applied to credit card on agreement for any guest on property not prepaid on the agreement.
Base price quoted is for the Bunkhouse. There is a laundry fee of $100.00 w Main house and $100.00 per side of Bunkhouse.
Charcoal BBQ pit fee of $10.00 and if not cleaned $100.00 will be with held from deposit/no exceptions.

Alexander House is spacious and pool is extra nice. We enjoyed our stay and property is close to lots of amenities. Property could use a deep cleaning.

Good messaging with Host. We a great house! The house is dated but the beds are great. The kitchen is decent size. We LOVED THIS PLACE! All the rooms are great, perfect outdoor area. The pool is great ! This place is close to wineries and grocery stores. The views are amazing, We had no issues with the house, bunkhouse, and the pool. Definitely recommend staying here! This home would be a great place for family reunions, group getaways, We will most likely stay here again.

Check in was done perfectly. We found several areas of concern and reported to Jeff, property mgr, and no real action. Called Lisa and she said it was really hard to get in touch with him. This was constant for the first couple days until a surprise visit from his "handyman" showed up and fixed issues. Plus a surprise visit from somebody looking at the property was another shocker to my wife. Then I got eviction notice cause there were floaties in the pool and messy rooms; this was the middle of our stay. Jeff was reluctant to talk to me, but just sent texts.I repeatedly asked him to call/talk to me.We liked lhe location, close to FredricksburgHate to totally "dis" the place since it isn't bad; but not up to normal standards I've had with other VRBO locations.Check out for us was completed leaving the location cleaner than when we arrived.
