It is an old farmhouse restored with taste, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub and part of a family property that extends along the coast.
The location is ideal, in the countryside but on the shore with direct and private access to the sea. Very quiet, tasteful furnishings, simple and well-kept.

There is a living-dining room with fireplace, equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower.
Outside a terrace with panoramic views, dining area and living dehors, and dedicated parking.
A large swimming pool for guests completes the nobility of the situation.
Free for the property scratch some breed cocks and hens.
Their singing in the morning can be disturbing.

Gianna, Cosimo and especially Sebastiano have been very welcoming, helpful and caring before and during our stay.
We loved the place, being close to Portoferraio and in nature at the same time. The house is simple and fully functional.
We enjoyed the walking access to a very nice beach (clear waters and not too crowded), and the big swimming pool (salty water from the sea). At night we enjoyed taking pictures of the clear and dark sky, while listening to the sea waves.
There is a road higher above the house, but it was finally not disturbing at all, even if I am sensitive to noise: we barely hear the cars, and the motorbike trafic drastically reduces in the evening.
I would definitely recommend the place.
The price is more than reasonable for such a remarkable spot.

We spent one whole week smelling the pinetrees flavor, overlooking the sea, spending our time at the nice pool and stunning beach nearby. Simple life with basically all that you need. Elba island is a mixture of hills and seaside (sandy or rocky) with a special charming atmosphere, easily accessible city's commodities, and where we felt really good. Definitely an excellent choice :)
