Ruhige Lage am Ortsrand, aber dennoch schnell in Altstadt, Strand oder Umgebung.
Leider kein Backofen, nur eine Mikrowelle mit Grillfunktion. WLAN-Empfang war meist sehr schlecht, aber auch normaler 4G/5G-Empfang (aber hat im Urlaub nicht wirklich gestört)

The kitchen/dining area of the apartment (ground floor) has 3 very big windows overlooking all sides of the garden and the other apartments. The apartment is spacious and has a huge bedroom. The bed is very comfortable. The location is very good even if you are without a car like us. We had no problems getting around on the island. The bus stop, where the suburban busses 116, 117 and 118 stop, are a 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Bus tickets are available at the Tabacchi just opposite this bus stop and a bit further away you find a big Condad Supermarket. The bus stop for buses within Portoferraio is even closer: right at the accommodation. Elba has some very pretty day walks.
We will for sure come back one day !
As very well mentioned in the description the apartment has upstairs neighbours, so you might hear some noise from above. The kitchen is relatively small, has a good collection of good quality pans. It would be good if some kitchen items were added such as a good sharp knife, a lemon squeezer and an oven glove. Some travellers might miss a kettle or an electric coffee machine to make filter coffee. There is a expresso hand coffee machine which we used happily.
