Villa I Coralli is a beautiful independent house, in a panoramic position on the cliff of Punta Seccione and surrounded by the lush Mediterranean greenery and overlooking the crystal-clear water of the beach of Seccione. The beach of white stones mixed with sand, can be accessed directly from the property with a private access through a stepladder. The location and the view on this beautiful place, make this house an exceptional little corner of paradise, ideal for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday close to the sea. Portoferraio, the principal town of isola d’Elba, rich in history and with its museum to visit, is not far from the villa, at about 4 km.
This Villa is for 8 persons and it is of about 180 sqm. The entrance of the property area is on the main road: inside, there are two parking places and then through a stepladder you arrive at the two-floor house. The upper floor is composed by an entrance, one double bedroom; two small bedrooms each with a single bed and one bedroom with two single beds; one bathroom with shower and another half bath (without shower). The lower floor, accessible by an internal staircase, is composed by an ample area with glass wall and a big table with chairs; a big living room with a double sofa bed and TV, a fully complete kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, oven, washing machine and dishwasher. On the outside, there is a big outdoor sea-view space equipped with table, chairs and sunchairs; furthermore, there is a small independent bathroom with shower. From the villa you can directly arrive, through a panoramic ladder, at the stony beach of Seccione with its crystal-clear water and its beautiful sea bottom.
Arrival: check-in 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Departure: check-out by 9 a.m. Utilities: electricity, water, and gas included. Heating: € 10,00/day until 16.05 and after 26.09. Final cleaning: € 220 (to be paid at the agency before keys are handed over). Heating: € 10,00/day until 16.05 and after 26.09. Linen: not included. You may reserve them for € 20/person per week (to be paid at the agency at the time of booking). Pets: not allowed. Deposit: € 200 to be paid at the agency before the keys are handed over. Check-in fee: in case of arrival after 8 pm, extra of € 20,00 (to pay at arrival).

Vi hadde en kjempefin uke i dette nydelige huset. beliggenheten er spektakulær med egen tilgang til stranden, flott utsikt og helt usjenert for naboer. Uteområdene er store og gir gode muligheter for avslapning og trivsel. En mulig utfordring er at det er noen kilometer til nærmeste butikk, så bil er en fordel.

The house worked pretty well for us. The things we liked were the access to the beach and the outdoor space. The house itself is an interesting building and it was kind of fun, and it was in pretty good shape though there wasn't any extra furniture, and everything was pretty sparse - for instance there were no dish towels (we used extra hand towels from our linens), though they did provide dish soap and bathroom soap. There were a few drawbacks, being that only one bathroom had a toilet with a toilet seat. There is only one shower in the house, though there is another outside of the house, down the steps in the beach bathroom. That bathroom also had a toilet which had a seat but was much less conveniently located. There is a mustiness in the house which was mentioned in reviews I read about the property, but we wouldn't say that it was any more than one would expect for a house that is situated right on the ocean. We opened the house up each day and aired it out and then everything was fine. The management was very nice. It's not ideal to have to go to the office to pick up the keys, but at least the office is very close to the ferry dock so it's pretty quick, and they were open for pretty long hours. We had a problem with the electric while we were there and they resolved it quickly. Note that there are four bedrooms, only one with a double bed. Two others have two twins each but it's awkward to configure them to put the beds together if you want another double bed. The fourth bedroom is very small with one twin. The only other double bed is a futon or sofa bed on the lower level which lacks much privacy, but would work in a pinch. There doesn't seem to be a lot in the way of accommodation on Elba, especially for a larger group, and we were happy enough in the end with the house. If you are pretty easy going and adaptable it's a nice location and the positives outweigh the negatives.
