Great views, generous provisions, excellent location and wonderful hosts. You can easily explore the region by car or you can catch the ferry into Trieste, which is a gorgeous city and there is private secure off street parking The trattoria about 3 minutes walk at the end of the road was also a big bonus with its extensive menu of delicious food at very reasonable prices and popular with the locals Muggia is a pretty village too and a 20 minute walk or short bus ride away
WiFi only worked in the lounge room but that’s a first world problem

Die Küche war super ausgestattet. Es waren bereits viele Vorräte da, als ich eintraf (Kaffee, Obst, Kuchen Schokolade, Wein, Bier, Butter... Nerio hat mich, als Bahnreisende, freundlicherweise zum Bahnhof nach Triest gefahren. Er hatte Kartenmaterial, Busfahrpläne für mögliche Ausflüge. Eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, v.a. auch mit Tochter Elena, die mit mir gut deutsch sprechen konnte. Das war ein toller Austausch.
Unter der Dusche dauerte es etwas lange, bis das Wasser warm wurde. Aber das Wasser wurde nicht knapp. Im Gegenteil: Hochmoderne Armaturen.

Von der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Hafen von Triest. Bei Ankunft findet man in der Wohnung eine Obstplatte und Lebensmittel für das erste Frühstück sowie eine Flasche Wein vor. Eine Autobushaltestelle in vor dem Haus. Wir werden wiederkommen!
