Very happy with the stay in Riposto. Everything as advertised and our host was extremely helpful and organized. I'd recommend this place for everyone!

Salvo was a great host and the marine-themed house was very comfortable, spacious, and had lovely appropriations. We stayed in March, and it was a bit chilly in Sicily, and the house was very warm, for which we were grateful! We arrived late, and Salvo was very kind to meet us in person and make sure we had everything we need. He was very communicative and helpful.

A few very important suggestions: First, there is a steep climb to the living area from the street, which is fine but there is only a flimsy piece of rope for support and NO BANNISER. Some of the supports holding the rope to the wall have come off. The whole set up is DANGEROUS and someone will have a major injury as a result. I would recommend immediate rectification for safety reasons. It also needs to be made cleat that the upstairs bedrooms are accessed via a small circular staircase that are only suitable for active people (which was fine for us) The dishwasher is unplugged, un-usable (not that we needed it), but was nothing less than disgusting inside as it had never been cleaned, as neither had the oven. There was a microwave, but nowhere to plug it un where it was positioned. The owner was very hesitant to supply essential items: no paper in the kitchen, 1 tea towel and supplied one roll of toilet paper, when asked, for 8 people for 8 days). It is essential keep a healthy supply of toilet paper when there are 2 bathrooms, as people who stay on the property are unlikely to souvenir a supply, and it is part of their responsibility to supply. He was very promptly responsive to requests, but it is hard to continue to request one roll at a time so we went and bought what we needed. The pillows on all beds are old and flat and need to be replaced as it is uncomfortable to sleep on these. Similarly, linen is old and not becoming of the property. Having said these recommendations, we enjoyed the position, parking was easy and we were happy to stay there, regardless.
