Villa Collina

Villa collina was a lovely stay for our family of four. It is situated a 5-7 min walk from San Marco beach and all the shops and about the same distance from a bus stop too which we used to get to Taormina. We were greeted at the nearby TUI Time To Smile villa Giardini by a lovely member of staff. She then came along with us to Villa Collina, and explained everything about the room, where we could get assistance from and also told us a bit about what there is to do in the town and its surroundings. The room itself was spotless and very spacious for a family room and had two single beds and one double, as well as an AC unit (which was handy for the hot weather!). The beds were very comfortable and the room also had a balcony which was a great addition. The villa was beautifully decorated with a garden which later led to a pool with sunbeds which the kids really enjoyed. It also had a vending machine and the room’s fridge had a bottle of water inside it already.

Just think if the building was given a fresh coat of paint it would have been perfect. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be going back

The room was super fresh and felt newly renovated with a fully equipped kitchen. The private terrace was generous and close to the pool, the pool in itself was the main highlight. Very clean facilities in general both inside and outside, and the personnel was super friendly. They were quick to respond to messages when in need of assistance and wanted to give us a great experience.

The only downside was that the walls are thin and it could be noisy from the other guests at times. As it is a small house and not many rooms, it was not a huge problem after all.
