Friendly staff, comfortable beds.

Surprinsgly, from all the hotels that I stayed in my 30 years of life, montempô has by far the most comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly and they speak very good English, I stayed several times there and I can honestly say that I feel like home. Especially when they have late check out facility. Also, they provide towels.

Good value, well maintained rooms;but what's up with security deposit and missing items in the room?

Room is clean, with a defect on a wall (has somebody moved a heavy vault here?) but still feels fresh and well maintained. A nice kitchenette in the room (while still at the same price level as other hotels of the same class in the area), cooking a welcome opportunity on a long business trip for a modestly paid employee. Overall enjoyable stay.

They pre-charge a refundable security deposit at the cost of one night and have a formidable warning sign on a cupboard ("This studio includes: 4 knives 4€, 4 forks 4€...") with a long list of 37 ridiculously valued entries, like a 25€ microwave valued at 100€ or a 3€ salad bowl valued at 15€. The message is clear: if you break or, God forgive, steal an item, you will be charged. Except that a better half of the list is just not there. My room was missing a coffee machine (30€), a "cuteboard" (sic!, 15€; really? a plastic one 2€ max wholesale), one of three pillows (20€), all of the four teacups (5€) and four dessert plates (5€), two of four plates (4€), one of four soup plates (4€), a dish (5€), one "paring knives" (5€) and on and on and on. You get the gist. When approached on the issue, a higher level manager on the team promised to send me an email stating that some of the items were missing at the time of check-in (they have not bothered to check which items were missing and never sent the email). To be fair, I have NOT seen a single review alleging that they seemed to abuse their clients on security deposits. But after spending half an hour on trying to pay their security deposit (they needed a physical card, which I did not have, only in my phone, they could not charge my corporate one which I used for booking the hotel etc. etc.), they literally not letting me in the room before I pay the deposit while also prepaying for the night, the many missing overpriced items just felt wrong.

It was a very great stay, the room was perfect and we like to thank very much to the desk guy Azizullah because he vas very great and kind and help us with instructions with places to eat and movility, very great service! We hope to stay again in this hotel. Thanks!

The hotel was a little far from the paris city, but the train was very close to the hotel and we get there very easy.

It was a quiet place, the kitchenette, and the location.

Breakfast was horrible, no cleaning services, no cable tv. Basic hospitality for us didn't reach the goal.
