Gorgeous character stay in a renovated old building with wonderful hosts.

Beautifully renovated 300 year-old building with stone and wood. It's in an old town area which has a lot of character but not a lot of parking. Megan and Raphael were very sweet and welcoming hosts and served up a delicious breakfast spread each morning and even had laundry service available. We were in unit number six which is upstairs and has the beautiful bathtub set in the rock wall but it is a very small bathtub. We enjoyed the patio which had magnificent 360° views above the rooftops. It's a very quiet area and within easy walking distance to the downtown area. The unit/building has some challenging quirks but what a memorable and wonderful stay!

Unique and special hotel, very comfortable

Nice quiet location a bit out of the main town of Courmayeur, very beautiful old section La Sax. Host was very sweet & room was enchanting & unique. We were very comfortable, nice beds, nice bath/shower. We would definitely stay again! Breakfast was also excellent- good coffee.

10/10! I loved it

Staff went above and beyond to make sure I knew about the location, and even helped me navigate the next stage of the TMB. My room was quaint and perfect for one. The shower was incredible. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. Walkable to central town, it was all enjoyable!

The room was hot in the late afternoon/evening and a little difficult to cool down

Beautiful rustic yet modern home from home

Oh my. This place exceeded expectations. It’s a beautiful home with stone walls snd wood beams. Full of character. It appears to have been recently restored and sympathetically retains its old world charm. And I had the best welcome - I was hot after walking with a heavy rucksack and the friendly receptionist immediately poured me a glass of iced water without me even asking.

Was a little hard to find down the narrow maze of streets.

The most amazing place on courmayour

The most amazing place we have been during our tmb trek. A unique room in an amazingly restored building, located in Saxe which is one of courmyour's five surrounding villages. The host supper nice, welcomed us warmly, offered his help with deciding on a varient we wished to do and escorted us to the beginning of the trail the next morning. Breakfast was reach and excellent. We recommend this place with all our 🩷

A gem of a place to stay

Beautiful quaint building with modern facilities. Good selection of homemade toiletries which great to useTucked away in the back street of La Saxe. Location was good short walk to centre. Also the host was excellent and very helpful

Fantastic stay

Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was amazing and they started earlier for me so I could get hiking early. Room was lovely, really clean, toiletries provided, shower was great!

Just the perfect little bit of luxury during our TMB journey!

Delicious breakfast and even provided a superb takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early. Staff were all so friendly and kind. Property was quirky, cute, and comfortable in a very secluded area that was peaceful but close to the main town. Information provided on arrival was brilliant.

Not to be missed - one of a kind.

Feels good to reinforce the already high ratings of this one-of-a-kind property. Megan and Rafael have created a truly unique hotel with far more character than anywhere else in Courmayeur. Recommend the top floor room if available, with its epic slate rooftop views and Monte Bianco looming large above. Truly outstanding in every regard.

Charming historic hotel!

This is probably the most charming hotel I've ever stayed at! It's in a historic building in La Saxe, which is about a 15-20 minute walk away from the chaotic tourist center of Courmayeur. We had 2 rooms, both so different and fun! One of them had a rooftop terrace that overlooked the town and mountains and was the most perfect place to hang out. This hotel manages to feel really quiet and historic, while still being really clean and chic. The included breakfast was fantastic. We had such a wonderful stay!!

It's slightly outside of the main town area, but for us that was a plus as it was so quiet and also the La Saxe area is gorgeous.

Incredible place Able to accommodate dietary requirements for breakfast, which was very generous. Very friendly staff who were incredibly helpful with navigating the town and finding the quickest walking route into town. We would absolutely stay again. The room was fantastic with a sky light to see the mountains from bed. Very cosy place. About a 15min walk from town.

Amazing staff, location, and luxurious bed!

The staff here is outstanding - so knowledgable for hiking and adventure in the area! They also suggested restuarants and places for aperitivos in Courmayeur. They offered to do our laundry, air out our tent and backpacks (we stopped here for a rest day while hiking the TMB), pack us a breakfast to go, and were available via Whatsapp 24/7. Truly outstanding service. The room was incredible (suite with a Mountain View) with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. So much natural light came in the sky windows. The bathroom was also luxurious - very rustic, yet modern and so clean! I am recommending this place to everyone I know! It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown Courmayeur and the staff there will give you a map and tell you exactly what route to take.

The house is beautiful and very well conserved. It looks from a fairytale as there are a lot of tiny details that make it cosy and comfortable. The staff is really helpful and friendly, they are true hosts and care that you have a great trip. The breakfast is amazing, out of this world. Both quantity and top quality! Probably the best I have ever had in a hotel. If I ever go back to Courmayeur, I will definitely stay there. 100% recommended.

Great stay at a beautiful maison

Everything. From the spacious room, bathroom, special, chic and modern decoration, the reformed old house, the homemade delicious breakfast, the nice staff that explained us all we needed to know about the location, the TMB, etc.

It was a bit difficult to find through Google Maps, but we followed the instructions via Booking and everything was easier

We had an absolutely exceptional stay and the staff are incredible!

The room was absolutely incredible and they had thought of everything! The breakfast on the porch was spectacular. The bed was very comfortable. Most of all, the staff was extremely helpful, easy to communicate with, and flexible with us. We are so grateful for their help and understanding.

It was a little tough to shower given the height of the ceiling, but I think this may just be weird to us as foreign travelers in the area!

Very romantic rustic type of lodging with friendly staff in superb location.

We received a very walk welcome. We celebrated an important wedding anniversary and a magnificent surprise was waiting for us in the room. The house is located in the middle of a hamlet only accessible by car. Breakfast was exceptional. picnic was arranged at very late notice so very flexible and super friendly staff. Room was beautiful. Highly recommend this place.
