Stay here when in Courmayeur

My partner and I want to go back to Courmayeur just so we can stay at this Chalet again. The room was perfect and we had an amazing view from the balcony. The host was super accommodating with us as we got there earlier from our TMB hike and had the room ready for us! When we woke up we felt we were in a fairy tale during breakfast. Great variety of things to eat and they would also make you any espresso coffee and eggs!

Just passing though, a lovely option........

The hotel is quite high above Courmayeur with plenty of parking. There is a more direct footpath going back into town, but the walk back up is a tester! Views towards the mountains from all around the property are spectacular. The internal layout is very pretty and the owners clearly take great care to maintain the experience. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was a bit small and is in need of updating/modernising. Pillows in particular were uncomfortable (too hard).

A fantastic family run hotel

food in the restaurant was exceptional, all made with top quality fresh ingredients. Staff were helpful with explaining the Sardinian dishes on the menu. Stunning mountain views from our room

our room was a little noisy whilst restaurant guests were leaving as it was situated above the exit to the restaurant

This location is incredibly beautiful. The view outside my window was breathtaking. The service was awesome. They were exceptionally accommodating to me in consideration to my dietary restrictions for both breakfast (phenomenal), and my delicious dinner. I'll be back!

Incredible breakfast and kind staff!

Really nice, clean, cozy room with everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. This is the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel - it was amazing! All delicious local products!

It’s a little noisy in the evening as the kitchen downstairs is closing up.

perfect and friendly, Sardinian hospitality in the mountains

everything, the staff were very welcoming, we arrived late at night but they went out of their way to show us hospitality, special mention to Andrea the waiter who was very friendly and a credit to the hotel and even brought us some delicious pastierra after a very good dinner, breakfast was excellent and very tasty with very friendly breakfast manager

A delightful stay

Staff is exceptionally kind, and the hotel has a lovely restaurant that is definitely worth having a dinner at. Given its popularity I recommend booking a table in advance. We'll most definitely come for another visit soon!

Wonderful mountain retreat

Very nice setting, comfortable room (though showering under the eaves was a bit of a challenge, delicious dinner, but personally our highlight was the breakfast.

Exceptional

I stayed only for one night but it was a highlight of my 11-day trip around MB. Every member of staff was very welcoming and friendly - they allowed me to check in earlier. Facilities - fantastic: you can see there there lot of love (and money) went into every detail. Everything's in working order, clean and functional. I'm not a TV person but they surprised me by offering SKY channels.

Really nothing the hotel but the guests arriving at midnight woke me up so I didn't have a good night sleep.

Hidden gem with amazing food.

Restaurant is amazing the stay definitely not

Food and staff are great. they are very welcoming and warm. The restaurant is not local but the food served is very very good.

The room was too noisy. we had to put a white sound on the iPhone to get asleep. We couldn’t sleep until the restaurant was closed and the staff completed the cleaning of the dining room. I would highly suggest to go for the restaurant but not for your stay at the hotel.

Worthy of a Michelin Star? Came for the skiing - but stayed for the food

Sue and I travelled for the skiing but stayed for the food!! The chef is a master of his profession. The dining experience was worthy of a Michelin Star. Everyone made the experience special. The breakfast is a good continental spread and the gentleman who served breakfast each morning is excellent in every respect. My apologies as I have forgotten his name. Paolla Olla ran front at dinner. Well but it is the chef who produced and extraordinary dining experience blending the tastes of the mountain with a taste of Sardinia form where I assume Paolla originates. Seafood is a speciality of the restaurant. We ate everything from Sea Urchins to deer tartar through to squid and all at very reasonable prices. There are plenty of meat and pasta dishes as well. The wine list is almost exclusively of Italian wine. I can recommend the Ottin Wine which I am told is made from the grapes from the Aosta Valley. The 2019 Ottin Pinot Noir is very good and the Ottin 2016 Pinot Noir exceptional. The food here is worth the visit in itself. The fact you can ski as well is a bonus!!

Wifi does not seem to reach the first floor bedrooms. There is no bar area for pre dinner and post dinner drinks. You need t be aware that the restaurant is closed Monday evenings.

Pleasant

The hotel is very nice, breakfast was good and the breakfast waiter was much nicer than the other staff. There were multiple large bottles of water in the room which was very welcome

Check in was a faff with the owner not on site and a staff member having to make multiple calls, I got to my room and 5 minutes later had the staff at the door telling me not to unpack until they could check again I was meant to be in the room. The bar staff at night were dismissive and not interested, I ordered a wine, waited 10 minutes and just left. The WiFi did not work The room locks are damaged and using the key was stupidly dificult

The hotel is on a hill 2.5 kilometer from the center, it is very difficult to reach the center of Courmayeur
