Driving into the grounds was a great surprise and joy. The cottage itself was in keeping with Normandy and well equipped for a stay. The town of Fauville, a short walk away, catered for all our needs. Wonderful stay and many thanks Francoise.

This house was, for us, perfect in every way. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable and had everything that we wanted or needed. We found the house and garden to be very peaceful Francoise was the perfect host. She made us feel very welcome and suggested several places to visit. The only thing that was wrong with our visit was that we didn’t get to stay long enough in this lovely place !

We were delighted with our holiday in this property. Very private with lots of outside space, yet only a few minutes walk to the town. The coast is easily accessible by car. We borrowed cycles to explore the local area. The owner made us very welcome and was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We are in awe of the property Francois and Dominique provide all the comforts of home. We were greeted and had everything explained to us and was very helpful in showing us places of interest nearby. As we are from Australia we felt very welcome at all times. The accommodation was excellent and clean a d tidy. We highly recommend this delightful cottage to stay at.

The property overlooks a magnificent garden and I would have been happy to look out watching the birds all day but the area was waiting to be explored and with the help of our hosts we maximised our time and returned to a relaxing environment at the end of each day. The property had everything we needed including information on what is to be seen in the area and as we do not speak French (very naughty I know) and our hosts do not speak English our google translation app was a real benefit. My husband and I chose to stay extra days mainly because we fell in love with our superb hosts - so warm and helpful as well as generous with their time.

"This is a Wonderful Stay in Normandy! Fauville is perfectly located in the middle of the region (in a range of 40 min drive you reach the Alabastre Coast, Rouen, Le Havre,...) It''s a small nice country town, with everything you may need (supermaket, shops, restaurants,...). The house is in the town center, but with a very large garden around (think to a soccer play field to get an idea) that makes you feel as if you were in the countryside. In this very large plot there is a master-house where the owner lives: it''s a beautiful and charming villa, typical of the region. Nearby the villa is the gites (cottage) which is just perfect. It''s fully renewed, furnished with style, well equipped, clean and large enough to host our family. The cottage has his own portion of garden and we had relaxed time and pleasent BBQ in the sunshine. The owners, Dominique and Francoise, are really nice and special persons, with a sense of hospitality you rarely find."

Wir haben diese Unterkunft mit unseren Kindern für drei Nächte im Juli gemietet. Die Gastgeber, die im Haus nebenan leben, waren sehr freundlich und gaben hilfreiche Tipps. Es ist ein sehr großes Grundstück. Viel Platz für Kinder. Es waren Fußballtore aufgestellt und unsere Kinder durften die Tischtennisplatte im Garten der Gastgeber nutzen. Die Orte Fécamp und Étretat waren mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Eine Ladestation für Elektroautos ist fußläufig gelegen. Es war ein angenehmer Kurzaufenthalt.

La maison est construite dans le style normand et en partie meublée de cette façon. Il se trouve sur un grand domaine juste à côté du manoir, où vivent l'hôtesse et l'hôte. Beaucoup de jardin, beaucoup d'espace! Le stationnement n'est pas un problème. Françoise nous a offert une galette de beurre avec gelée de coing. Fauville est un village français ordinaire dans un environnement agricole. Pas touristique. Des épiceries ordinaires sont disponibles à distance de marche. Il est bien situé au centre. Nous avons emmené nos vélos avec nous dans la voiture pour explorer une partie de la région ailleurs à vélo. Surtout la côte est belle.

Sehr nette Vermieter, sehr gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Kommunikation war gut, trotz meiner sehr geringen Französisch Kenntnisse. (Françoise spricht auch etwas deutsch) Die Wohnung ist absolut in Ordnung, das Aussengelände super. Verstecken, fangen, Fußball, Badminton, Tischtennis, Wikingerschach, für alles ist genug Platz. Grillen kann man auch. Fußball spielen mit den französischen Enkelkindern hat ebenfalls viel Spaß gemacht. Wir wollen gerne wiederkommen.

Un petit nid douillet dans lequel nous avons terminé l'année 2019 et démarré 2020. Rien à dire si ce n'est que vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Excellent accueil de la part de notre hôtesse qui est charmante et pleine d'attention pour ses hôtes. Le gîte est très agréable et bien aménagé, vous vous y sentirez de suite comme chez vous.

Wir waren mit unseren 3 Kindern für 2 Wochen im Ferienhaus von Madame und Monsieur Lebas. Wir wurden vom ersten Tag an sehr freundlich aufgenommen und haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner. Dass Madame Lebas auch etwas deutsch spricht, hat uns enorm geholfen. Galette de beurre und selbstgemachte Marmelade zwischendurch als kleine Aufmerksamkeit unserer Gastgeber ist bei uns auch sehr gut angekommen. ;) Das Haus an sich ist wunderschön und hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Das große Grundstück und die große Auswahl an Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder, haben unsere drei auch gern und häufig genutzt. Fußballtore, Tischtennisplatte, Badminton, Kinderrutsche, etc. sind vorhanden. Wir hatten erholsame 2 Wochen Urlaub und denken gern daran zurück. Vielen Dank Françoise et Dominique! Das Haus ist wunderschön restauriert, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Die Lage ist gut, in 20 Minuten ist man in Fecamp oder am Strand ( Stein, Badeschuhe nicht vergessen). Die Landungsstrände und Sandstrände sind in akzeptabler Zeit gut zu erreichen. Es gibt in der Umgebung jede Menge Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen. Die Gastgeber sind großartig, so freundlich, herzenswarm ,immer hilfsbereit und mit guten Ideen für Ausflüge an der Hand.Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und wenn es uns wieder in diesen Teil der Normandie verschlägt, werden wir auf jeden Fall zu Francoise und Dominique gehen. Cher Francoise et chere Dominique,merci pour le bon temps, nous sommes sentis très bien.
