About this apartment rental
The apartment, just restored, is located in a historic Florentine building with high and frescoed ceilings, furnished with antiques and in a typically Florentine style, near the Fortezza da Basso and a very short distance from the main monuments but not in the ZTL. The apartment is very cozy, quiet because everything with internal views, revives the sensations of historic Florence. We love to live there and we would like to share this experience with our guests. It is equipped with all comforts for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Guests will always find a bottle of wine to welcome them. It features a very large bedroom and a lounge with a double sofa bed equal to a normal bed. By necessity a fifth bed is possible using an antique sofa bed which we call the princess bed.

Apartment was spotless with plenty of room for the 2 of us and I feel that 2 more would not have been crowded. Large bedroom, updated kitchen and bath, hardwood floors and a great balcony overlooking a quiet treed courtyard, great for morning coffee and evening wine. Only 2 flights of steps and good elevator to property.
Cafes and market steps away and convenient to major sites, walking distance to SMN Train Station but very quiet apartment and neighborhood.
We have stayed in many vrbo properties but the owners here have been the most courteous ,accommodating and helpful we have ever encountered.
Can't miss with this place.

We stayed for 5 nights in May and loved the little apartment. It was perfect for all our needs. We walked everywhere, 20-30 minutes walk to everything.
The historic building made us feel like we lived there, a home away from home.

The apartment itself was great. High ceilings with original architectural details, a very comfortable bed, a quiet courtyard patio… and air conditioning. It was a wonderful oasis after a hot, crowded day touring and walking around beautiful Florence. Our host was very kind and went out of his way to help us navigation a travel issue we encountered. Highly recommended.
