Patrick and joelle were lovely and helpful on our arrival and throughout our stay. Homemade lemonade was waiting for us on arrival, delicious and refreshing after our long journey. Homemade tart also delivered mid week. So kind of the hosts. Accommodation matched our expectations and needs. Property backs onto the forest with access to the bolders with spectacular scenery on your doorstep! Bikes available for use too. Pool was great size and available to use between 1pm to 7pm everyday. Everything you needed in accommodation. Beds were comfortable and towels provided. We had an amazing two weeks and hope to return. Thank you so much Patrick and joelle!

What an absolutely wonderful place! Our hosts were very welcoming with lemonade on our arrival and Patrick showed us round and explained everything. The welcome booklet was comprehensive and Patrick gave us ideas on things to see and do during our stay. The accommodation was lovely. Well stocked with what was necessary. The forest is literally behind the house accessed by a locked gate. Lots to explore and rocks to climb on. The pool was used most days and cooled us down on hot days. The cover made sure thay even when it rained a little we could continue swimming and playing. We played table football as well as ping pong and although didn't use the bikes, a thoughtful addition. There are supermarkets nearby and well positioned for all our visits. We visited Fountainbleu castle and Veux le Viconte (host recommended) and Disney. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return.

We spent two weeks in September, enjoying a mix of bouldering, cycling and walking in the forest. The weather was perfect and we greatly enjoyed an afternoon dip in the pool as the temperature hit the thirties. The gite is very comfortable and ideally located with quick access to the forest. The provision of bouldering mats and bikes was a great asset. We were made very welcome and are already planning a return visit next year.

This house was perfect for us. Communication with the host was quick and easy and they are friendly and helpful. The private swimming pool was amazing in the hot weather we experienced and the children especially loved it. The house back onto the forest and there is loads of climbing within a 10 minute walk. The crash pads at the house were also really welcome and saved loads of packing space for us. The house sleeps 6 - one double, one twin and then a bed in the lounge or kitchen. The beds were ready made on arrival and the rooms had fans, hanging space and towels. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a table inside and outside. The house also had a table tennis table and table football. The accommodation is located in a small village with shop and pharmacy and there is a bigger town ten minutes drive away and Fontainebleau is 20 mins in the car. We will be staying again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Perfect base for perfect stay
Perfect base for perfect stay
We came here as a family of 4 with the intention of climbing. Location, via back garden - 5mins to JA Martin, 10min to Rocher Guichot. Don't need a car. We had 6 pads on site - free of charge, again saved a lot of car space. Swimming pool, accesible, clean, well look after garden. Owners - Patrick and Joelle, very discreet, but lovely. Joelle even dropped off a special clombers bread for us. Highly recommend it to any active family. Tres bien!

Lovely place to stay
Lovely place to stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very accommodating and this gite had everything we needed for a lovely week. Such a lovely touch for the owner to bake us a pie- we felt very welcome. The location is spot on for the climbing; we barely took the car out as loads of the climbing is simply a walk away. Our children enjoyed some down time in the swimming pool and we used the other games facilities and bikes quite a bit too. We will definitely be coming back.
