Lovely breakfast, comfortable bed, secure parking but too far outside of Florence as no way to walk

Comfortable bed, secure gated parking, friendly staff, good morning breakfast included with very friendly chef. daily wine and water service and wonderful house keeping making the bed every day!

location, just a bit too far for my liking into Florence. Location to bus stop is ok and bus ride in was easy. however coming back isn't as easy as bus stop so far away from all of Florence activities so a ton of extra walking and then stand in the cold waiting for bus ride back home. no way to walk at all too far away. Day trips elsewhere made location better. The property landscaping was unkept and not inviting to sit outside but inside was clean and tidy

This rental was fantastic! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Angelo it was special. We started with a cup of espresso and he explained everything and gave us a map with information about bus and train service as well as a description of the amenities of the property. The room was very nice and came with some homemade wine and snacks. The breakfast was included and it was amazing. It was a full buffet of sweet and savory items and the server even made omelets, scrambled eggs, etc. It was a real treat. I would very much recommend this rental if you are visiting the Florence area and we would gladly stay there again. Superb!

Lovely Tuscany farm stay

This is a most charming old farm, very well maintained with a beautiful garden. Our room was very clean and we slept heavenly in the cool and comfy beds. The breakfast was amazing: freshly made and local produces - we loved everything. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walk away to drive to Florence (20 min) or Siena (1h10min). Thank you very much to our welcoming host for all the helpful information!

A beautiful, quiet place to stay - easy transportation into Firenze.

We enjoyed LA Fattoressa immensely! They even messaged us at 11:30 am to let us know the room was ready if we wanted to arrive before the 1:30 pm scheduled check in time. When we arrived, Angelo, the owner, greeted me by name and was completely ready for us. He welcomed us into the office and provided us with a lot of information about his property and how to get to Firenze (the Italian name for Florence). We chose this community because of private parking included and the easy access to Firenze by bus. It was a short and easy walk to the bus stop and the cost was somewhere less than $2.00 after conversion. You can use your credit card to tap when boarding so you don’t even have to buy tickets in advance. I had messaged La Fattoressa after I booked telling him we’d want to use the bus to get to the centro. Angelo was prepared with a couple of maps showing where to get the bus near his place and to return. He also showed us how to find our meeting point for a cooking class and where to go when we had tickets to see David! When Angelo walked us to our room he showed us how everything worked. They had the AC on and the room was a perfect temperature. He showed us the small fridge and let us know that both the bottle of water AND the bottle of wine are complimentary. He said we should be sure to drink them both and they’ll replace them when they clean our room each day. They also brought us some small bites after check in and left some after room cleaning. The breakfast was fantastic. There were lots of options to choose from. The dining room is lovely with a massive table for all the guests. The woman who prepared the breakfast was pleasant and accommodating. We really loved this place and highly recommend others consider staying here.

Beautiful place. Owner was very kind. Gave us a lot of information about traveling in to Florence and had bus tickets for us to use. Just had to replace them for the next guest. Breakfast was delicious and a lot of options. Room was spacious and clean.

Air conditioning broke the second night so was tough to sleep that night.

Our hosts were so pleasant, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet selection was excellent and delicious! Our room was clean, comfortable and very cute. It was tidied every day and we were kindly given a new bottle of wine daily. We unfortunately had to check out before breakfast on our last day, despite saying breakfast was required our host so kindly left us a full breakfast selection and coffee in our room for us to have prior to leaving. It was very much appreciated and delicious.

Pure relaxation

If you want to experience Florence and at the same time enjoy the Tuscan countriside, if you love the old style cottages but with style, if you love peace and quiet where you can retreat in the evening from the busy Florence lifestyle, if you love an insanely awesome breakfast before the start of touring, then please, look no further, you found it. Plus on top of it, the best hosts ever! La Fattoressa is the place to stay. You can pretty much visit anything with an hour drive, dont even bother looking for other places to stay, book your whole trip here, you wont regret it. :) Enjoy!

Staff is amazing! From giving you bus tickets upon arrival, trying to help with various things and complimentary wine and water in the room. Large room with a comfortable bathroom.

The place is close to public transportation, but buses aren't very reliable and do not arrive on schedule. Florence is also impossible to get to by car, so weekends are especially difficult.

Great stay for visiting Florence or surrounding venues

Great stay for visiting Florence or Siena. The bus stop is a 5min walk from the property, and it tasks less than 20min to the centre of Florence. The bus stop to Siena is also around 5min away, and it takes 1h to get there. Breakfast is delicious however it may lack variety for longer stays. The owner is super helpful and responsive, so if there are any issues, please ping the owner he makes sure things are sorted out. We got a bottle of wine replaced every time we finished the initial one, for free.

As mentioned, there were small hiccups with our wifi but the owner sorted it out after we chatted with him.

The owner was extremely helpful and pleasant. The wi fi didn’t work for us so he got us our own personal modem which immediately sorted the problem. We also requested a kettle as there wasn’t one in the room and 2 minutes later he was back with kettle, tea cups and tea bags. You couldn’t ask for better service. On previous reviews it mentioned mosquitoes which obviously the owner is aware as we were provided with mosquito nets, citronella wipes and candles. We didn’t have any problems or bites and didn’t have to use any of the above. We parked for free and caught the bus to Florence. The owner gave us bus tickets and directions and just asked us to return new tickets to him. You catch the no 11 bus from the car park on the main road ( turn right at the end of the little lane into the main road). It’s the end of the line so the bus pulls into the car park and does a u turn. It costs €1.50 from a Tabac but €2.50 on the bus. This takes you the old bridge which is very central. To return follow the directions the owner will give you.

Beautiful villa with very friendly staff and secure private parking. We were welcomed by the owner who gave us a small introduction into the villa's history, showed us the room and gave us instructions what is the best way to get to Florence, where to get yummy ice-cream and many more useful tips. The breakfast was good with lots of fresh and super yummy fruits and vegetables from the garden. The room is rustic but has all the facilities a hotel room would have like dryer, bide, couch, small fridge, towels etc.

Aggressive mosquitos everywhere during summer, unfortunately they prevented us to enjoy the beautiful terrace with a beautiful garden view.

A really nice stay at La Fattoressa!

Everyone was very friendly at La Fattoressa! They received us very kindly, and were always available to help. The breakfast was very varied and with typically Italian food. Also the home made wine that we always had in the fridge, that was awesome :)

The house is about 20 minutes by bus from the center, and there were some weekend days when there were more delays or we had to change buses, but we always managed to arrive.

Beautiful rooms with nice garden but a bit far away

Very nice hosts, great big breakfast (once bruscetta, once caprese), very nice garden, air conditioned rooms, very spacious and beautifully decorated, nice and silent fridge, and it was possible to make a twin bedroom instead of double bed. Thank you!

Location is quite far away, 20-30min by bus + walking and on Sunday for example the bus only comes every 40min. WiFi could be a bit better, for my boyfriends phone didn't work most of the time but we understand that's because of the location outside of the city. Check in only until 6pm. Mind the 3€/p.P.p.night city tax on top of the price!

Beautiful property set in Tuscan hills, town just a 10 minute walk away. Greeted by very welcoming host, wine in the fridge and kindly made us a dinner reservation at local restaurant. Wonderful fresh Italian breakfast, such a romantic and perfect stay.

Excellent experience

The beds, the bedsheets, the bathroom... everything in this hotel is very clean. The breakfast is just amazing. The owner of the hotel is helped us a lot to find a good restaurant in the country side. Thanks to him we had the famous Florentine steak and we didn't get ripped off. The location is quite good. You take the bus from la gora stop, as it is the first stop you can sit & enjoy your ride. Moovit application shows the timeline correctly, so no need to worry about waiting at the bus stop. The bus takes you to the city in 20 minutes and you can take the bus back to the hotel until 11:00 pm in the night. I am very happy that we stayed in this hotel. We parked our car in the hotel, we didn't worry about driving in Florence and the ZTL restrictions (you simply can not drive in Florence). In the night, when we came back, we had a nice sleep in our clean and quiet room. We had amazing breakfast. Also the countryside is very very beautiful. If i were to go back to Florence, i would definitely stay in this hotel again.
