Location is great, near Firenze but still in countryside. If you want to feel Tuscany countryside living, this is the place. Staff is friendly, food is great. Small calm hotel with no crowds.
Annoying mosquitos near pool and parking in mornings and late afteroon. But still, hotel is great.

The evening meals, although limited in terms of options where absolutely fabulous. Some of the best pasta we had in Italy. The pool was great, especially given the heat of the summer, and the overall peacefulness of the hotel was great.
Although not that far from the centre of Florence, taxis are quite expensive. If you had a car it would be much easier. Perhaps more choice in terms of food

He warned us not to play outside with a ball (it was away from the apartment, near the parking area on the grass). His reason was that we were being disrespectful to others (although the chalet was not full, only 2–3 couples were there). The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly. On the first day, the room was very cold. On the second day, it was fine.
