It turned out that the property was overbooked after our first night and our host George very politely inquired if we would be willing to relocate to another hotel. We agreed as the room was a bit small for us but also because these things happen. After agreeing, George took care of reservation at a nice hotel, paying for that and issuing us a full refund for the first night. I think that is great customer service when the situation was as it was.

The area and road nearby is very busy.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and local shops. What made our stay truly special was the kindness of the owner and his lovely mother. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for your hospitality and for making our trip to Greece so memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with wonderful hosts.

Excellent location with easy access to the beach, a short walk to more central Platanias, and plenty of restaurants around. Easy access to the bus from Chania City. The room was very spacious as well.
