Amazing apartment with beautiful sea view!

We spent a week here while visiting Crete. The location is perfect and the views are incredible from the balcony! Even though it's north facing, the balcony gets plenty of sun in the morning and evenings, providing the perfect spot having dinner while the sun sets below the mountains. The apartment was easy to find and has parking spots available just opposite. Access by car is a little tight, but you get used to it. Lots of gorgeous bars and restaurants just a short walk down the hill. Plenty to do near by and a 25 min drive to Chania. Local supermarkets and Lidl stores are easily accessible - the kitchen has everything you'd need, if staying in and cooking meals. Very clean and spacious flat with large open plan kitchen/living/bedroom, additional en suite bedroom and separate bath/laundry room. The apartment has everything you could need and Alexia was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. There is so much to see and do on the island, it feels a shame to not spend more time in the apartment, but it was the perfect base to travel back to and relax, after a day of exploring beaches along the west coast of Crete. We felt ever so comfortable during our time here and would love to stay again!

Great location, spectacular views. The fridge was well stocked and the apartment was cleaned every day.

The AC was very weak and it took hours to cool down the apartment. The AC was also mouldy and a bit smelly. Unfortunately the apartment had bed bugs while we were there. We were bitten all over and had to take extreme measures to try and not transport them to our home. We also found a couple of large millipedes crawling in the apartment. The balcony was mostly unusable during our stay as there was a fly infestation. We hope that the owner will deal with the bed bug infestation asap, otherwise the apartment seems great and we had a winderful time on Crete. Because of the bed bugs etc. I cannot give higher score than 9, otherwise it would easily be a 9.

The situation of the place is both very heavy to climb up to our flat bare feet warm weather, but the scenery crowns the climbing, so that is not a claim,take a taxi if you are not to able to walk up there. To us it wasnt a problem.

Exceptional

The suite is located on top of a hill overlooking the city and the sea. Fantastic panorama. In the morning when you wake up and draw the curtain. The hosts are very attentive and the breakfast is plentiful. We received a video of "whatsup" in advance about how to approach the accommodation.

Wonderful view with very helpful owners

View was fantastic. All of the rooms very clean. It was great to have a washing machine. The owners were very generous in supplying a wide variety of foods and drinks for breakfast. The home-grown oranges and nectarines that the owner supplied were the most delicious we have ever had. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The a/c also worked very well. We highly recommend this place for a beautiful view of this area.

Many areas in Crete were built before automobiles, so side roads and alleys can be quite narrow and take a little while to navigate well, if one comes from a country where wider roads are the norm.

Best stay ever....

We had a fantastic stay at this awesome place. The room and the view is great even better than on the pictures. Everything is super clean and we even get a fridge full of food,water,beer and even wine.We really recommend this place and the hosts are super friendly. It's a feeling like you meet your family. 10 from 10 point ❤️👍❤️

Honeymoon vibes

Beautiful place with an amazing view. We stayed there during our honeymoon and we could not choose better! Located in the historical part of Platanias. The apartment is cleaned every day and the fridge is always full. The Owner is very kind and there is a very good restaurant upstairs. I wish that one day I will stay there again. I visited many nice places but this one is top of the top! Ευχαριστώ!

From the moment we were welcomed until the moment we left we were made to feel welcome. We enjoyet absolutely wonderful stay! The suite are spacious, very clean, modern and comfortable. Good located. The pinnacle of a holiday home experience

This is without a single doubt the best apartment / suite / hotel / etc. that I have ever stayed in. Seeing how I've been to five star hotels and two storey villas with their private swimming pools and gardens, this statement does not come easily, but Blue Suite has genuinely earned it. To start off with the details, the sea view is incredible and just as good as in the pictures. It is both enjoyable and relaxing to have breakfast at the big balcony and have the nice scenery to accompany you. The suite has all the necessary equipment and comfort one might need and then some more. This includes washing machines for laundry and dishes, an oven, lots and lots of glasses, plates and cutlery, a juice blender, two big beds for two people each, a hot tub, remote controlled lighting, two bathrooms, WiFi, two TVs, ... the list just goes on :) But best of all, all of the foods, wines, spirits, etc., are completely free of charge and the owners just keep on bringing you more food - the guest does not need to go grocery shopping at any point! This I have never encountered before, especially in this magnitude. Put that together with their free transport to and from the airport and you have to wonder what more could you wish for as a guest. Blue Suite is perfection when you want to have a very relaxing vacation experience.

Tolle Lage um den Westen der Insel zu erkunden.

Tolle Lage mit Blick über den Ort und Meerblick! Sehr großes Appartement. Die Ausstattung ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war alles nötige vorhanden. Für das gebuchte Frühstück wurde unser Kühlschrank üppig gefüllt. Es gab sogar frisches Obst und die Eier waren von den eigenen Hühnern. Auch an Bier, Wein und Ouzo für den gemütlichen Abend wurde gedacht.

Ein paar sehr schöne Tage auch mit dem Tavernen Besucht im Galeria, hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Dien Lage am Berghang ist sehr gut mit Blick aufs das Meer und in die Oliven, Abends kühlt es sich auf angenehme Temperaturen ab , das man auch gut ohne Klimaanlage schlafen kann. Es wurden jeden Tag gereinigt . Bei Ankunft war die Kaffeemaschine total verkalkt und wurde am nächsten Tag ausgewechselt. Im Kühlschrank waren Wasser, Apfelsinen, Wein hineingelegt, dafür noch einmal vielen Dank.

Wir hatten sofort Ameisen im Raum, die aber von der Reinigungskraft sofort bekämpft wurden. Wir haben dann unsere Vorräte so versteck das keine Ameise mehr dort hingekommen ist. Der Abfluss der Sanitärgegenstände hat immer der Bodenablauf leergesaugt und damit auch von der Nebenwohnung zu starken Gluckergeräuschen geführt. Die Reinigungskraft hat es versuch zu erledigen hat aber nicht geklappt, es ist wahrscheinlich ein Konstruktionsmangel bei der Installation, es fehlt die Abwasserbelüftung. Der Abluftventilator für das Bad ist ohne Funktion würde auch nicht ausgewechselt.

Incroyable ! A refaire l’année prochaine!

Incroyable accueil par nos hôtes qui nous ont attendu jusqu’à très tard, de l’eau des fruits du café etc tous les jours à disposition gratuitement, ceux ci étaient toujours disponibles dans la minute, plein de bonnes recommandations, l’appartement est littéralement incroyable, meilleur séjour en crête !! Le restaurant au dessus de l’appartement est splendide , très bonne nourriture à des prix tout à fait abordable!

Il est situé haut dans la montagne donc le conducteur doit être au taquet 😎
