Spa Apartments

Really lovely, clean apartment in a great location. The area was quiet, parking was easy, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing I'd mention is that the listing states the apartments are on "upper floors," but it would have been helpful to know how many stairs there are. Apartment 4 is up 18 steps, whereas Apartment 6 is up 36. As I was travelling with my 81-year-old mum, I would have preferred Apartment 4, as 36 stairs was quite a challenge for her. We ended up only going out once a day so she didn't have to climb them more than necessary. It didn't spoil our stay, but I think including the number of stairs in the description would be really helpful for anyone with mobility concerns or travelling with older relatives.

Good location. Very convenient for the conference centre and the town. Comfortable beds although the one that is also used as singles, has the ridge down the middle and a bit of a slope to it on one side. It was very cold outside when we were there and the flat was warm and cosy. The oven and hob was very good. It was 2 floors above the pub but the property is solid and there was no disturbance from there. It was very clean.

The shower room could use the fan being cleaned as the fluff kept floating down upon the towels and rail. The side tables in the smaller bedroom were so tiny you couldn’t really use them. They are not practical. The smaller bathroom really could do with a shelf or a cup holder to put your toothbrush in.

Very noisy on Saturday night with the pub located under the apartment. Very loud music on Saturday night until 1:30 in the morning
