Kigeni Safari Lodge & Spa

A small piece of paradise tucked away in the Waterberg bush. We were overcome by the welcome given by the owners who throughout our stay went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The glamping facilities were beautiful and were immaculate. Small touches such as rusks etc were very thoughtful. The kitchen was welll equipped with everything you could need and the water was hot! We certainly appreciated the tranquility and being immersed in nature and regret we dod mot book for longer. We will certainly have Kigeni at the top of our list for our next visit.

I came there with my daughter, my friend & her son for our New Year’s Eve crossover. While we were still on the road, one of the owner Susan had texted me to find out what time are we arriving & to wish us a safe travel on the road. She kept constant communication whilst we were on the road because she wanted to meet us at the gate. When we eventually arrived, we found her waiting for us at the gate so that she could escort us to our glamping tent so that we don’t get lost. When we got to our campsite, we were in awe. Our glamping tent was very clean & aesthetically pleasing. There were clean white sheets on each an every bed, clean towels for all of us, clean toilet and shower with hand soap, hand lotion, shower gel & shampoo that smelt Devine. All electric sockets were working, there was a fan that kept the tent cool whenever we needed to use it. Our kitchenette which was situated next to our tent was clean & fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, gas stove, cutlery and crockery, pots & pans & glasses. There was also dish washing liquid & clean dish cloths. Outside in our compound we had a beautiful braai/boma area with firewood that was already positioned nicely on the pit so that it’s easier for us to start a fire. Each morning the cleaners, take away the ashes & positions the firewood for us again which was so unfortunately nice. We got a complimentary game drive which was so educational. Susan & Willie(the owners) were so warm & welcoming, they gave us exceptional customer service we felt like we were home. We could feel their passion for being in the hospitality & game farming industry.Their farm is well maintained & the bonus was waking up to seeing the game animals roaming around. We’re definitely going back later on this year. Their customer service & love for what they do is out of this world.

Neat, clean and well maintained facilities and safari tents. Kitchen well equipped. We could walk for kilometres within the reserve comfortably and safely with our dogs. There is good signal for vodacom and MTN. Awesome hosts, Suzanne and Willie go out of their way for the guests.

We would have loved to stay longer😁….but we will be back soon anyway.
