Good location, close to the metro. There are cafés and convenience stores nearby. The air conditioning was a must for this incredibly hot weather, and it worked very well. I also had a nice view over the street. The double room was far from the shared rooms, so there wasn't any noise from the other travelers.
The window wasn't too well isolated, so there was quite a lot of noise coming from the street.

I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm, which was very comfortable, and the other ladies were lovely. The bed and room were clean, and other than a bit of movement when my bunk mate moved, and snoring from another guest, the stay was very comfortable.
I was able to leave some items in the fridge, but it was located in a different area of the hostel which required me to ask for a key each time I wanted to use it. I was trying to use the main kitchen to prepare my breakfast (very simple yoghurt with fruit), and the staff member told me I couldn't, and only he could use the space. Perhaps a larger, more dedicated preparation space would make things more comfortable and pleasant.

Breakfast was great. The location was good. Air conditioning and hot water for showers were great.
The room was overpriced for what it was, but comfortable and practical.

Convenience to gare du Lyon as my next stop
Beds were sinking in as I slept, not good for the back. Blanket has some hair on it
